This is a complete hood, all work is completed on contract except master bath which she stopped work on because she out of fundsWe installed all new windows, exterior doors, painted inside, some areas twice, she didn't like the color she first picked outWe offered to refund master bath

In good faith we allowed her to back out of her valid contract on master bath, we offered her 7800.00 cash and full releases, but because she is broke she I'd demanding monies on work already finished. When I told him that we were not comfortable giving him more money for the work he has not completed he basically told us work has ceased and not to contact him further. come by our office. The original contract was for $9450 to remove and replace the roof. He was paid $8500. He completed ,based on square footage, 56% of the roof. That is $5292 based on the $9450. He owes us $4158. Additionally he left our house vulnerable to rain by not having tar paper on the bottom portion of the roof closest to the eave. His crew had removed the eave of the house to the outer wall of our home. Rain storms began and caused extensive damage to sheetrock inside our home along the wall that he left vulnerable. We hired this company in good faith to do work to our home because we are no longer able to do that kind of work. My husband is 66 and recently had back surgery. I am only asking for what is fair. This business should not be paid for work they did not do. They should pay for damages to my home. What is the name of the insurance company so I can file a claim with them for the damages?
