I had the misfortune of Blanton T*** taking over the property in which I resided Their customer service is rude and unprofessional to say the least When Blanton T*** took over the property they didn't notify the residents until I personally reached out to Kara, the named property manager to ask where residents were suppose to send rent as it was the end of the month I then had to deal with an accounting error on their part for the following six months as they were certain the ledger for my account was accurate Only when I escalated the situation by deciding to break the lease did they have their accounting department look at the discrepancy I had challenged them on I was proven correct and at the time of this still waiting for the money owed by their company
During their my time there I watched as they showed no regards to complaints of noise from other neighbors As the building has a high pet occupancy they turned a blind eye to complaints about repeat offenders having their pets off leash in the building area When I had a maintenance request about the dryer in unit operating at too high of a temperature it took close to two weeks to have it repaired I had numerous items destroyed by the temperatures the dryer was expelling In an attempt to milk every dime out of the property as possible, those that pay extra to have covered parking on the street side of the building have to deal with them giving compact parking spaces to full size trucks Not only did this make it difficult for those in the covered parking, but during forecasted snow, one had to worry that they were going to slide into the vehicle parked behind them I can understand weather that takes the city by surprise but there's no excuse for when it's forecasted and tenants need to leave for work early in the morning
I gave their manager day notice of the date I wanted to vacate the building Upon that date arriving and still not received a reply and reached out again giving two days notice Only on the day that I purposed did I hear back from the manager giving me hours notice They felt this was adequate even though I was unable to agree to it due to being at work Since I couldn't meet that day, a Saturday they said they wouldn't be available until Thursday, a full week after the initial date I had asked about I do feel this was done to be vindictive since I had called out the incompetence of their employee, upper management and business
I strongly urge anyone that is contemplating a building that the manage to look elsewhere Bully slumlord comes to mind
