ID [redacted] BLAYNEY VETERINARY CLINICTo whom it may concern; I am writing in response to a complaint that we received from a client through theRevdex.com about medication costsThis client is unhappy with the fact we charged him $71.55for the Phenobarbital medication for his dogThis medication has gone up in price do tothe fact we had to order it through a different supplier and had to pay double the normalcost for our clinic.Anyone who runs a business knows that you have to charge for the current priceyou pay and not what you had previously had to purchase medication for through adifferent supplierWe DO NOT price match as most clinics don'tAs far as themiscounting of the medication complaint, we sent out the tablets the client claims weshorted him we apologized for the inconvenience for the price being higher but this wasout of our control.The client kept accusing us of "price gouging"This is falseWe are one of theclinic that always charge less than most Veterinary clinics in the Valley, but in all realitywe are able to charge what we wish on anything that goes out this doorThe client isupset in the fact that I refused to refund him $for the medicationHe claims heowned a business for many yearsThat is fine; but if we were to refund $we aregiving him medication for free.Thank you,Ashley V***Management

I am rejecting this response because:
They said I could have got the 16.2 mg. pills for about $60.00 for a ninety day supply and would not have to cut them in half as I have to with the 32.4 mg pills for ninety day supply. This was a call I made back to them after my wife got home after paying for the32.4mg pills, I asked if I could return the 34.2mg pills for the16.2 pills and was told no, and then I asked WHY they didnt tell her this while she was there and had said this way more than the last time we bought them. We could have bought them right there cheaper if they would have answered her. I called around to other vets and found them a lot cheaper at 3 other vets and at drug pharmacist. I have changed vets and am now paying $36.00 for the same pills. If that is not piece fixing I don't know what else to call it.
