This complaint is in regards to complaint# [redacted] I was sent an e-mail stating that this complaint had been resolvedIt has not been resolvedThe fireplace insert I purchased at Blaze King on October 26, has still not been installed properlyThey wrote the Revdex.com saying that the shroud to complete the job would be shipped Sunday Feband would be installed as soon as it came inThey have not contacted us telling us anythingThree weeks ago they told us it would be in Feb16thThat is the last time they contacted usAbout a month ago they sent someone to install a temporary shroud that left one third of the fireplace opened.He said that it would not work and took it offThey did offer to reduce the priceWe would like to have it FIXED so we could use itFour months should be plenty of time.Fix the fireplace insert where we can us it

On Thursday March 5th we decided to install a custom fill panel with shroudThis was agreeable to both partiesWe expect the custom panel to be complete within weeks

Mr*** is correct that it has taken so long to get the backordered shroud in from the manufacturerWe did issue a refund/credit for the delays and have offered to install a temporary shroud so the stove could be used while we wait for the permanent shroud to arriveThe permanent shroud is
shipping on February 22ndOnce received it will be installed immediatelyWe apologize for the backorder delay and our failing to communicateWe would like to offer an additional discount of $for the delaysOnce the new shroud arrives the ***'s will contacted immediately to schedule installation

The customer was contacted and he does not require service at this timeHe states the burner is working
As with all warranty work the manufacturer requires that parts and components be purchased direct and not through an after market company to ensure the parts do not void the warrantyWe
recommend that all service warranties be handled according to the manufacturers guidelines

I have been in contact with Mr***At this time we have come to a resolutionAs previously stated by Mr*** we have changed out the pipingWe have also agreed to pay for the powder coating of the fireplace doorsMr*** has dropped the doors off at Absolute Powder Coating and they are
expecting to have the doors done by the end of the first week in DecemberThis resolves any pending work/issuesThe ***'s are also able to use the fireplace in the meantimeUnfortunately our manufacturer discontinued the fireplace originally selected by Mr***We regret the inconvenience and hassle this has caused Mr***We also appreciate his willingness to work with us in coming up with a solution

I am rejecting this response because:I will not accept their response until the gas insert is useableThis is not the first time they said a shroud was being madeIt has been four months and two weeks since we ordered the insertI think that is enough time to build a shroud factory let alone one shroudHopefully we will be able to use it next winter.

This complaint is in regards to complaint#[redacted]. I was sent an e-mail stating that this complaint had been resolved. It has not been resolved. The fireplace insert I purchased at Blaze King on October 26, 2014 has still not been installed properly. They wrote the Revdex.com saying that the shroud to complete the job would be shipped Sunday Feb.22 and would be installed as soon as it came in. They have not contacted us telling us anything. Three weeks ago they told us it would be in Feb. 16th. That is the last time they contacted us. About a month ago they sent someone to install a temporary shroud that left one third of the fireplace opened.He said that it would not work and took it off. They did offer to reduce the price. We would like to have it FIXED so we could use it. Four months should be plenty of time.Fix the fireplace insert where we can us it
