My complaint with Blaze Pizza Wilmington, NC is not about food or service but about the fundraising scam promoted by the company. My 501c3 nonprofit received an email promoting the fact that Blaze Pizza was community focused and wanted to give back by providing in store fundraisers. We followed the procedures to set up the fundraiser, received a date to come in and hold the event and heavily advertised the fundraiser with the flyer they provided. On the night of Dec. 12 we had a minimum of 30 supporters with family and friends, come out for our Christmas party funny gift exchange and fundraiser. We have yet to receive our money nor have we had a response from the 3 messages to corporate offices or a response from the two calls to the local franchise. This was simply a scam to boost their business. I would warn all nonprofits to ignore any emails from this company as their commitment to the community is bogus and they are only interested in profits.

Contact by the Business We would like acknowledgment from the franchise owner and receive the donation we were told we would receive. We will be warning other local nonprofits that they can not trust this company or the owner to make good on their advertisement that they are a community focused company that wants to help local nonprofits. It is a scam to stimulate their business.
As of today March 17 we received a check from Blaze Pizza for $200.00. There was no explanation as to what had happened or how they came up with that amount as our actual donation. However we will not pursue this complaint further since we did receive some money for our SNIP fund and there are more important things to be concerned about in our country. Thank you for taking up our complaint, we believe getting the Revdex.com involved really made a difference in the outcome. I would however warn people in our area that this particular franchise is not reliable and having to file complaints to fight for what you were promised is not worth the effort. Regards
