Bleu Olive Bistro Reviews (1)
On December 31 I took a guest to the restaurant for dinner. We had a very pleasant evening--the food and waitress were excellent. I was intending to pay cash for our meal and checked my purse before leaving home and had $100 in new $20 bills. My bill came to $89.88 and I indicated to the waitress I had set aside $20 for her tip. I said the rest* was to cover the remainder of the bill (I didn't say out loud there would be $80 remaining) and included my credit card to cover what should have been $9.88. When the waitress returned for my signature I was surprised to see I had been charged $29.88. I was not about to question the waitress in front of my guest and I (unfortunately) signed the bill thinking I would see what happened when I returned home. The next day I called and spoke to the manager who was very polite and seemed to understand my predicament. She said she would speak to the waitress about it and call me back ..(The waitress happened to be off the day of our conversation. ) I have yet to receive a phone call from the manager. In my defense I would add, I'm not a dishonest person...something happened to that missing $20 after it left my hands. I might add, I did try to call the manager back when I didn't hear from her and the phone was relaying a message from [redacted] that the voice mail had not been opened so I waited for the manager to call me as she had said she would.Desired SettlementIn resolving this matter I should like Bleu Olive to mail me a check for $20.Complainant called on the morning of 1/11/2016 to say she had arrived at a resolution with Bleu Olive and was satisfied with the result. She also thanked the Revdex.com for our action in this matter.
