Review: On 10/16/13 a client received a response to an e-mail from an Attorney's Assistant

Representing the Blewett & Allen Law Firm. The text of the message read in part, "You are

flipping my [redacted] switch and I really don't think you want to go there". In addition to this response

being highly unprofessional, it could also be construed as threatening in nature. Nothing in a

prior email correspondence from the client would justify this type response.

Desired Settlement: Refrain from this type response to clientele and provide immediate training to employees responsible for communicating with clientele on appropriate methods of response.

Shortly after the email to [redacted] I spoke with him on the telephone, stating to him that it was a joke because I have known him for a long time and we have joked around in the past. [redacted] and I laughed about it and that was the end of the conversation regarding the email. I shouldn't have written that to him, it was unprofessional, but with the relationship we had had in the past, I thought he would think it was funny and we would laugh about as we did. [redacted] had offered to help one of my family member enter a men's organization that he is affiliated with, and had previously met some of my family members. I took that has a sign of friendship. Sorry to have offended Mr. [redacted]
