Review: My lap top was having some issues so I took my lap top into [redacted] at Blinc Computers on 2-22-2014 to have it repaired. 12 days had when after calling him repeatedly, and he said he couldn't repair it. Mind you it worked when I took it there. I proceeded to go to his place of business to look at what he was stating he couldn't repair. The board of the inside of the computer was black from him trying to sodder it. He stated the computer does not work and he can not repair it. He wanted to charge me $100.00 dollars for the repair. I told him no.Desired Settlement: I would like my computer replaced, because of the damaged he caused it cost more to repair it than it does to replace it. Or if he wants to pay for a professional to do it like Best Buy I would be happy with that also.

The accusation that I damaged Ms. [redacted]s laptop is untrue. The laptop has a faulty dc jack from using the wrong power adapter and then pushing/pulling on the plug till it gets power. This is the second time that this has happened, the previous repair was done about a year ago. I outsource electronic repairs such as this. What I do is disassemble/assemble the machines and pay an electrician to do the actual repair. The board around the jack was blackened and brittle and I informed/showed her why I felt it couldn't be replaced. She insisted that I should do the repair as the laptop wasn't working anyway. Since I have to pay for the repair upfront, I reassembled the laptop and informed her that I couldn't fix it. As she was a previous customer and not happy I waived the 50 dollar diagnostic fee. So she was never charged anything. The going rate for this type of repair is 100-200 dollars.

I am rejecting this response because: What he states is untrue. I left the computer in his care and he is responsible. If he sent to someone else than that is on him, he is responsible.
