I request all my fellow citizen not to buy any thing from this company They never fulfill what they say they are just fake I think I have ;lost my five hundred dollars deposit which I given to their sales person After couple of weeks I have got nothing back I call them times every day but not body answer back the only thing I want to share you guys please do not do any kind of business with them do not waste your money

[redacted] The manager Diana never returns phone calls, we ordered an arch shutter in May 2016, it was supposed to take 6 weeks. Its December 2016, we still do not have it. They took out money and will not reply to numerous phone messages. The installers are not professional, damaging some of the shutter frames then not fixing them. [redacted]

I do not recommend Blind and Shutter Outlet/Factory to anyone!

I have received terrible experience from the sales associate, installer and management at Blind & Shutter Outlet/Factory!

We gave our deposit and were advised of a certain time of delivery. Our delivery was weeks late and when the installer finally came, the shutters did not fit in our windows. This installer was telling our guests and every member of our family that we were required to help him install the blinds. He was ordering everyone around telling us where to place the blinds and to provide him with the tools needed to install them. When we said that it was his job to install them and we should not need to help him, he started bad mouthing everyone in the house. Although they were the wrong size he still attempted to fit the shutters onto our windows. Finally, he agreed that they were the wrong size and he said he would re-order the blinds for the upper floor only.

When I complained about this experience with their head office, I was advised that I would receive a call from a manager (this never happened).

I called again to explain that we did not want the blinds anymore because they were not white and we were advised, by the sales associate, that they would match our trims exactly. - left a voicemail but still did not get a call back.

They finally installed all the blinds in our house. However, we let the installer know that we did not like them as they were not white, like we expected. They insisted that the shutters were white and the colour was different because of they type of material. Apparently plastic can not be pure in white. The sales associate/installer said that we would get a full refund, however we would need to call head office.

I called head office and spoke with a nice lady who explained that they would come to uninstall the shutters and she would talk to her manager about how to refund the money. I was advised that I would get a call back in about 1-2 days. I waited a week and a half before I decided to just call back. I got the same lady on the phone and she said I need to speak with the sales associate about the refund. I explained that I was advised, by the sales associate, to call them.

Finally she passed the phone to her manager. The manager spoke in a very stern tone. She started off explaining that they only has 1 shade of white in the blinds. I explained that I was not satisfied with the product or the service and would like to come to a solution to fix this. The manager started screaming in the phone telling me that the shutters were custom made for my house and thus, I cannot get my money back. But then she also said - still yelling - that the sales associate is responsible for giving refund. I asked the manager to stop yelling at me. She kept speaking over me, when I tried to explain what happened. She said that her company never makes mistakes and their delivery is always on time and that there is nothing wrong with the shutters (note: she has never stepped foot in my house). She then yelled louder repeating the same things over and over again, and she hung up.

I have never received such bad customer service from a company before. But still, I tired to call back, and my calls were being ignored. I then called the sales associate to advise him of what had happened. He said he would give me a call back tomorrow. - this was 2 weeks ago. Since then, they have cashed all of our post-dated cheques and we still have shutters that first of all, we do not like, and second, that need to be fixed as they were not installed properly.
