Blinds Shade and Shutter Factory 11:AM (hours ago) to me Dear [redacted] , We installed shutters for the [redacted] on June 26th, [redacted] signed the contract stating he was completely satisfied with product, installation and serviceHe told the installer that he wasn't authorized to issue payment and it must be discussed with his wifeOne week later there was still no paymentBob S [redacted] sent an e-mail again, requesting payment be made on 7/1/ [redacted] responded that day with some issuesOn July 2nd , Jordan went to their house and addressed all issuesOn July 8th, another e-mail was sent requesting payment since the issues were addressedOn July 11, [redacted] responded to the e-mail requesting a phone call but no payment informationWe will only communicate through e-mail so that everything is in writing and there is no hearsay [redacted] is requesting our installer come back againWe will send the installer out to address any and all issues once a balance is paidI will speak to [redacted] via phone once the balance is paidPlease see the original contract and the copy signed by [redacted] on July 26, There is a court hearing scheduled for Sept 9th, to assist in this matterIf you have any further questions, please call the office ?Thank you, Bob S***

I am rejecting this response because:
Blind
Shutter Factory did install our shutters on June 26th, 2014.
*** *** never stated he was completely satisfied with product, installation
or service I was at work during the installation, so I was not
there to inspect nor approve anything.
During
the installation, it was noted that my Credit Card numbers were written boldly
on the work orderAfter the installation, *** *** informed the installer,
Jordon (MrS***’s son), that MrS*** would need to return my calls to
complete the contract.
When
I inspected the shutters, we found the installation incomplete (missing screws)
and wood imperfections/damage plus the bathroom shutter is poorly painted
We planned to address these whenever MrS*** returned my call.
*** *** did receive and respond to an email dated July 1stHe reiterated
our dissatisfaction and requested, again, that MrS*** contact
me.
On
July 2, Jordon, showed up at the house without an appointmentLuckily, *** ***
was home and the missing screws were installed*** *** showed Jordon the
flaws and Jordon took pictures on his cell phoneAGAIN, *** *** reiterated that
MrS*** needed to contact me and provided my cell number.
On
July 8th, another e-mail was address to *** ***I replied on July
11, 2014, requesting a phone call and stated that final payment could not be
made until flaws of a bowed tilt rod, imperfections in wood and paint were
corrected and he returned my call
My shutters
were not measured via email, nor was my order placed on line or via emailCommunication
via email only was never discussed as an option. In the email, Mr
S*** did state that, Jordon would contact us to address all outstanding
issuesTo date no one from Blind Shutter Factory contacted us to make any
repairs
MrS*** and Blind Shutter Factory
have failed to complete our verbal and written contract
MrS*** has failed to
return my phone calls since May.
MrS***
compromised my Credit Card information resulting
in fraudulent use and identity theft that was caught by my Credit
Card company.
MrS*** breached our
verbal contract made when we placed our orderMrS*** promised us prompt personal
attention if we had our concerns or problems.
MrS*** has failed to
address our concerns and problems with service and quality of
product.
MrS*** has failed to
provide a quality product nor make the needed repairs despite stating he would
in an email
MrS*** has failed to
complete the work.
Therefore the contract
has not been fulfilled and final payment cannot be made
I have an EXCELLENT
credit rating and I have NO outstanding bills.
Unfortunately, I
did not check out Blind Shutter Factory with the Revdex.com prior to placing this
orderMrS*** stated that Blinds Shutter Factory has been in business for
over years but oddly they are not rated with the Revdex.com

[redacted]'s original purchase is dated 4/30/2012. [redacted] called the store stating that a technician for another company told her that the shutters that were installed by Blinds Shade and Shutter Factory were not installed properly. She then proceeded to call the...

company and asked for service. She was told that we would come out to service her shutters at a fee of $75, She refused to pay the service fee. Hence we did not make an appointment for service.There is a 90 day warranty on labor. It is written on the contract in which [redacted] signed. Company policy states that once the 90 days are up, there is a $75 dollar charge for at home service. We at times make accommodations to the rule, if it is just past 90 days. However [redacted]'s installation was three years ago. There is no telling why the shutters are the way that they are,We will come out to make an assessment and work with the manufacturer if there is a defect; however [redacted] needs to pay the $75 service fee so that we can be of service to her.

Review: We placed an order for wood planation shutters for our living room, one bedroom and bath on April 5, 2014 with the owner of Blind, Shade and Shutter Factory, Bill S[redacted]. Bill assured us of personal service and guaranteed he would personally handle any questions or concerns. We paid 1/2 the total balance by Credit Card at that time with the balance due after completion of the job. The end of May, Blind, Shade and Shutter Factory, called my husband and scheduled installation in two weeks on June 11, 2014. My husband confirmed the appointment on June 10th. My husband took the day off, cleaned all the windows and prepped all rooms for the de[redacted]y/installation for 10:00. At 10:10, my husband was notified by phone that the shutters had not been shipped and were still at the factory in California. The installation was rescheduled for June 26, 2014.On June 27th I called Bill to express my concern with the delay and in hopes he could prevent this for happening to other customers. I was told he was with a customer and would call me back. Two hours later, I called again and was told he was not in the office but they would text him. I called again after another two hours had pasted and was told he would call me back. At the end of that day and The next morning, I called again. I was told my was packing for vacation (weekend trip to the Jersey shore - about two hour drive). To date Bill S[redacted] has not returned my call. My husband took off from work, again on June 26 and the shutters were installed by Bills son, Jordon. We noticed our Credit Card number hand written on the invoice. We experienced fraud on that Credit Card after our purchase and had to cancel the number. Once again, we requested Bill contact us to complete this transaction. After installation we noted one tilt rod is bowed and imperfections in the paint. We have called and emailed Bill about these issues but they have not been addressed. Thankfully I have not paid the balance pending ALL the issues resolved.Desired Settlement: We are requesting:1. the bowed tilt rod be replaced2. the shutters replaced that are not painted properly3. Bill S[redacted] return my phone calls then4. complete this transaction.
