I have spoken to the manufacturer regarding this and am now able to get a full credit for the customerThe credit will be processed today, 1/8/It can often take a few days for the credit to post to the customer's account We sell custom made products so getting credits back from the manufacturer of the products can often be difficultThe manufacturer has the right to repair or replace the product rather than giving a credit right awayThe customer did send in pictures of the damage, and the factory was willing to remake or credit the affected shade but not the entire order These are not low quality Roman ShadesThese are among the best on the marketMost higher end Roman shades use wooden headrails and staples to hold the material onto the headrailIf the material was torn the manufacturer will replace at no charge for the customerIf the material is wrinkled upon delivery, which is extremely common with fabric Roman shades, the customer is asked to hang the shades and the fabric will relax

I have been a satisfied customer of [redacted] for several years however I was looking for a 2-1/faux wood blind that offered twill tape covering the cords and [redacted] did not offer that option After searching the Internet I found BLINDSGALORE.COM and on 4/18/ordered a 30" 2-1/faux wood blind with 3" valance, traditional tilt/raise cords and 1-1/2" twill tape covering internal cordsA week later I received a bizarre email from BLINDSGALORE.COM and responded TWICE reuesting clarification for what they were asking After email exchanges FINALLY the author of the email said one of the features I selected was included in the configuration of the blind ordered A week later I received a $refund Good, but where's my blind? The ship date was changed to 5/3/ Checking on 5/5/there was no change in ship date BLINDSGALORE.COM has the worst customer service I understand the circumstances of my order but do not accept my email ignored I have again emailed requesting status and have received no response Stay away from this company, they clearly are nothing more than an 3rd party source for blinds and cannot provide any service whatsoever They are not in the blinds business, they are in the blinds ordering business - BIG DIFFERENCE Complaints against this company confirm there is no service should there be problems with your order

Placed order on Nov 19, with an original ship date of Nov Almost immediately started getting emails delaying the ship date, after the 4th delay, contacted customer service, she called the factory, and then told me she could pretty much guarantee the Dec ship date, and it would take about days to arriveReceived a 5th email delaying the ship date to Dec 28!! Contacted customer service again, nothing she could do, but she was sure the blinds would ship on the 28th, without further delaynothing offered in the way of compensation..cancelled the orderand remain blindless! Very poor company!

I'm shocked to see negative reviews! Between myself and my mother, we have ordered from Blinds Galore timesThe product is excellent for the priceCustomer service is superb - we recently found that an order was damaged due to shipping, well beyond the days that they recommend, and with pictures, they're resending new blinds, no questions asked! We would recommend Blinds Galore to everyone!

I ordered a set of Blindsgalore(TM) blackout roller blindsI followed the instructions for measurement as per the video and instruction sheet, and I specified that I wanted the inner mountHowever, when I got the blinds they were cut an inch too shortBased on the measurement, it would have been preferable to have 1/8" - 1/4" on each side to block lightHowever because they were 1" short, there was 1/2" on each side, meaning they could no longer be mounted from the sides as I requestedI called in and the rep had a book of excuses and claimed that the short cut was by design and on top of that there was little they could do because they are actually made and shipped by a third party who would probably not be willing to help - his wordsThe blinds were not manufactured by Blindsgalore as I was led to believe based on the labelingIt's a facade over the fact they are just a middleman skimming profits, along with the terrible customer service, that makes me regret ever making a purchase through this lousy company

Placed order on Nov 19, with an original ship date of Nov 29. Almost immediately started getting emails delaying the ship date, after the 4th delay, contacted customer service, she called the factory, and then told me she could pretty much guarantee the Dec 15 ship date, and it would take about 4 days to arrive. Received a 5th email delaying the ship date to Dec 28!! Contacted customer service again, nothing she could do, but she was sure the blinds would ship on the 28th, without further delay.. nothing offered in the way of compensation..cancelled the order.. and remain blindless! After searching the Internet I found BLINDSGALORE.COM and on 4/18/2016 ordered a 30" 2-1/2 faux wood blind with 3" valance, traditional tilt/raise cords and 1-1/2" twill tape covering internal cords. A week later I received a bizarre email from BLINDSGALORE.COM and responded TWICE reuesting clarification for what they were asking. After 3 email exchanges FINALLY the author of the email said one of the features I selected was included in the configuration of the blind ordered. A week later I received a $10 refund. Good, but where's my blind? The ship date was changed to 5/3/2016. Checking on 5/5/2016 there was no change in ship date.
BLINDSGALORE.COM has the worst customer service. I understand the circumstances of my order but do not accept my email ignored. I have again emailed requesting status and have received no response.

I have spoken to the manufacturer regarding this and am now able to get a full credit for the customer. The credit will be processed today, 1/8/2015. It can often take a few days for the credit to post to the customer's account.
We sell custom made products so getting credits...

back from the manufacturer of the products can often be difficult. The manufacturer has the right to repair or replace the product rather than giving a credit right away. The customer did send in pictures of the damage, and the factory was willing to remake or credit the affected shade but not the entire order.
These are not low quality Roman Shades. These are among the best on the market. Most higher end Roman shades use wooden headrails and staples to hold the material onto the headrail. If the material was torn the manufacturer will replace at no charge for the customer. If the material is wrinkled upon delivery, which is extremely common with fabric Roman shades, the customer is asked to hang the shades and the fabric will relax.

I sent the following email to the customer to try and resolve their problem:

Good morning,
I have received a Revdex.com notification regarding an order you
placed with us. I have reviewed the notes on the order and spoke to...

the
manufacturer, and I do have a couple of options.
With the inside mounts, the factory takes an inside mount
deduction, normally ½”. They do give themselves a margin of error at +/- 1/8”.
If you measured 9/16” less than the ordered width, this is within spec. There
is no way I can argue with them regarding deductions because they are within
spec and mandatory for all inside mount blinds. This note is on the site as a
pop up notification when you are entering the order.  The only way to try
and beat the system is to order the blinds at a narrower width. We do not
recommend this, because there would be the possibility that the blinds would
not fit and we’re back where we started.  There was a third wood blind
ordered as an inside mount in the color Red Rock, which would have come in
smaller as well. The other 4 vinyl mini blinds on the order were ordered as
outside mounts, and arrived at the ordered size, which is correct for outside
mounts.  Inside mounts will always come in smaller than the ordered size.
If the sizes you entered on the site were entered as the
sizes you intended the finished sizes to be and not the window opening size, we
can get that remade at the factory. We would just need to know the exact window
opening size. There would be a charge for this, but I would split cost with
you. It would cost $44 for a remake for the 2, which we would pick up half, and
you would pay the other half, $22. I also see that you ordered 2 different
tilting mechanisms for the sidelights. I’d need to know if you’d want them to
both be cord tilts or wand tilts.
The other option I have is to give you a credit to keep the
blinds as is. We could offer $35 back to your purchasing card.
I know this isn’t the exact resolution you wanted, but with
the way the blinds were ordered, they came to you correctly. Please let me know
if you have any questions or would like to choose one of the options I offered.
