The one side of the gown had extra material and the other by the bust was so tight it had a crease and it could not even be buttoned and the illusion neckline was a mess (did not lay flat) [redacted] said no its not, its because we ordered it too bigSo My consultant measured ***'s waist and it was inches on the day of 6-28-( 1/bigger than when she ordered the dress last year)A Davinci bridal size is a 1/inch waist and a size is 1/inchSo an is still the correct size I asked [redacted] if she wanted to take the dress over to our seamstress to see if she could fix it but she was upset and being rudeShe said no she already bought a new dress before even calling me on 6-27-and coming in that dayI told [redacted] we are not responsible for other people's alterations and the gown was ordered the correct size and apologized againWedding gowns can not be return to the manufacture especially after being alteredI wish [redacted] would have used one of our seamstresses and all this would have been avoided!

Hello [redacted] purchased a wedding gown in October of 2016 and was measured by my wife and we went over the size chart with her. We have a copy of the signed contract with [redacted]'s measurements and size to be ordered. Her measurements were 39 bust, 34 1/2 waist, and 41 hips so we ordered a Davinci...

Bridal size 18. That gown is: 43 1/2 bust, 35 1/2 waist and 45 1/2 hips. You have to buy a gown by the largest part of your body on the size chart. The size 16 has a 33 1/2 inch waist and [redacted]'s waist was a 34 1/2 so a 16 would be too small. So we received the size 18 gown in November 2016 and she picked it up and tried it on and it was big in the bust and hips as expected but fit her waist. Then about a week (6-27) ago [redacted] calls and complains that the dress was too big and it did look right. I apologized and asked her to come in the shop and she did that afternoon. My bridal consultant (Tina) went to put [redacted] in the dress and it could not even buttonmall the way from being takin in too much in the bust area and before they even came out of the dressing room my consultant said, this dress is messed up and the seamstress ruined the dress! The one side of the gown had extra material and the other by the bust was so tight it had a crease and it could not even be buttoned and the illusion neckline was a mess (did not lay flat). [redacted] said no its not, its because we ordered it too big. So My consultant measured [redacted]'s waist and it was 35 inches on the day of 6-28-17 ( 1/2 bigger than when she ordered the dress last year). A Davinci bridal size 16 is a 33 1/2 inch waist and a size 18 is 35 1/2 inch. So an 18 is still the correct size I asked [redacted] if she wanted to take the dress over to our seamstress to see if she could fix it but she was upset and being rude. She said no she already bought a new dress before even calling me on 6-27-17 and coming in that day. I told [redacted] we are not responsible for other people's alterations and the gown was ordered the correct size and apologized again. Wedding gowns can not be return to the manufacture especially after being altered. I wish [redacted] would have used one of our seamstresses and all this would have been avoided!
