My husband and I rented a condo managed by Bliss Beach Rentals for the week beginning April 2, During the rental process before they received payment, they were quite responsive and pleasant When we arrived at the condo, not as much While it was nicely decorated and in a perfect location across from the beach, the experience with the management company left much to be desired First, we were told chewas pm and provided a door code, however when we attempted to use that door code shortly after 4, it did not work We had to call the management company who in turn provided us with a temporary code When we did finally get into the condo, we found that the sheets had not been stripped off the beds; they had just been re-made We know this because there was sand and human hair on some of the sheets There were a number of other issues, human hair on the shower walls, the refrigerator not cleaned out from the previous guests, the dishes in the dishwasher had not been cleaned with soap, the TV in the bunk bed room did not work, the grill wasn't cleaned and there was coffee and an old filter in the coffee pot In short, nothing about the condo was clean The worst thing though were the cockroaches and silverfishWhile we were on the phone leaving a message for Bliss, a cleaning crew showed up at our door saying they had been sent by the management company While this was appreciated, they should have communicated this to us ahead of time because we had to stay in the house for hours until they were finished cleaning To be fair, they were responsive to our requests but only after several calls and a couple of messages The cheexperience left us with a negative opinion of Bliss, especially for the amount of money we spent We will not rent a property managed by them again
We booked a condo with this company for June 20th-June 27thOn 06/15/they called us to tell us they had canceled our reservation because they double booked the room, Leaving us three days to find something else and not offering at all to help with thatNot to mention the woman who my husband was speaking to about it all decided to hang up the phone on him after very rudly stating that " there was just nothing they could do to help us"
