The Bottom Line: I Cindy A*** have been in this business since Have owned: *** *** * *** *** *** *** Perkaskie+Bliss Salon & Color StudiosI have never had complaint or suite. I personally should go to small claims court and sue them for
serious accusations They are Total lies!are as a salon in Perkaskie charging $ This is not New York I said slow down I said slow down How long was her hair and how many hours did we work on her He said that does not matter!Enclosed you will find the stylist whom did the girls hair's report in detail.They never said we hurt the scalp or they did not like the hair The year experienced stylist's was given to her on purpose because of the project to be done Samantha M*** We have many witnesses to her expertise! We can provide employees to vouch for all the color used and the amount of work done & time it takes Her root color was done with volume developer (Not possible to harm her scalp in any way.) Nor was there any complaint about her scalp Her letter is filled with lies to win her case We used about a level deposit only to restore as close as possible to her natural color she had previously changed with color elsewhere With level + no grey we would never use volor bleach on her scalp Then she had a use gold band mid shaft we needed to repair with color Then her length was blended in with another color A basic client with length hair a root touch up color + cut takes hours. To whom it may concern:On June 16th, *** *** came into Bliss Salon and Color Studio for a color correctionShe had about inches of natural regrowth, followed by approximately inches of red hair color, followed by a foot of previously lightened and colored over hairDuring her consultation she said that a couple months prior (months) that she went to a salon to have her ends match her roots, that's how she got the red bandSo she let her hair grow out and again wanted her ends to match her rootsasked her if she wanted her ends lighter to giver her an ombre look and she agreedI explained to her that we had to remove the red and put a over all color on root to ends and she agreedShe was booked for a cut and I said her hair was in good Condition that she might not need a cut and that we would wait to the end to see.Normally color correction is priced off how much color we would use on a full head of colorA full head of color is based off how much color is used by the g(gram)A basic root touch up is between 40g-50g of color at $Any additional 20-30g of color I usually upcharge $At hair ***'s length, I had to mix 240g of color and should have charged her $I did a soap cap at the backbar first which lightened the red band without heavy lightners with high volume developersAfter that I blow dried her hairNext I put a color that matched her natural level and tone on her roots and midshafts and let it process for mins and put a color on the end for less then minsRinsed out the color and cut and blow dried the hairHer ends were dry from all the processing and drying that I wanted to make sure she left in a good stateOver all I spent hours with her.During the process she was telling me how she was going camping with her boyfriend that weekend and she was going to Key West for summer break after thatI told her how to take care of her hair swimming so that it will stay in a good stateUpon knowing this information I was going to cut her a deal with priceI would never charge $an hour for color correction but for her hair length ishould have charged at least $100-$So for her I just charged what I should of charged hourly for each individual process and $for her cutEven if I charged what I should've charged for a full head of color twice it would have been $380, plus $for the cut$400-process to a $ticket because she was a sweet kid about to go on vacation.When we finished igave her the totalFeeling like I did a good deed for the day, itold her $She handed me $in cash, on a gift card and said put the rest on the card and handed me her bank card, it only rang out for $She asked to call her mom for the rest, so I didn't put the last card throughHer mom gave me her credit card number, it didn't go throughasked if she wanted me to run her daughter's card for the $and her car for the remainder $She said no and gave me another card number and asked for the price breakdownIran her card and told her the breakdown of how I wrote it which was "$for each color plus extra for each and for a cut"She didn't tip me and left afterAfter that I locked the door and Went to the bathroom.The next day, Friday June 17th her father came in, asked for the manager or owner and just started yellingWe gave him the owners number and he went outside talked to herAfter the phone call he came back in and continued to yellMy client's daughter even said to him "you're being rude and making people uncomfortable"I was embarrassed and insulted that thisman devalued my work so much, even though ifelt so highly of his daughter, enough to give her a huge discount.Hopefully this showed the situation from my perspectiveit very upsetting to know that the pride I put into my work and customer service can be thrown away because an year old had to ask her parents for moneyI've worked in a salon since I was years old, this is more than a job, it is a careerI take pride in everything ido inside and out of this salon and istand by my workI thank you for your time for reading my letter.Sincerely, Samantha M
