Review: A nail technician at Blissful Salon and Spa in [redacted], Maryland was continually rude while I was receiving a manicure and pedicure. The service and attitude was not acceptable, and the manager was made aware of the rude comments and unprofessional behavior. Payment had been submitted in full prior to the end of receiving services. During the pedicure and manicure, the nail technician continued to talk and laugh with her boyfriend, play on the cell phone, and speak in an offensive manner.Desired Settlement: Payment should be required to be submitted once services are completed. Employees should be advised to be polite and provide professional customer service at all times.

April 9, 2014Dear **. [redacted]:Please be advised that I represent Blissful Salon and Spa with regard to your letter of March 26,2014. The problem with the complaint is that it fails to identify the nail technician, against whom the complaint is directed. My clients business has at least a dozen nail technicians, so we need something more definitive in order to investigate the complaint.That said, my client cannot change a customer policy that does not exist. My client’s employees are all trained and instructed to always be courteous, responsive and friendly to all customers that utilize the services that the business provides and are never instructed to engage in any of the activities that the complainant alleges occurred. My client can only counsel, reassign or possibly terminate an employee if the complainant's alleged facts are true and correct. Without knowing who the employee was you can see the dilemma my client has in knowing what if any, action to take in this matter.Please provide either a name or some better method of identifying the employee that the complainant wrote to you about, and then, we can investigate properly. Until that time, I have instructed my client to wait for the information, as a preliminary inquiry made to nail technicians produced only negative results.Awaiting your reply, I am,Very truly yours.
