Blitz builders (bi-rite builders, same company just different structure) are great at advertising, they are in a lot of auto trader magazines and that is about the extent of they their talent. The only things they are good at is taking money, lying and advertising. The ability for the company to call back, show up on time, or at a certain date, was unprofessional and rude. I do understand things come up, and certain things happen; I am an ICU nurse so I do have a heart, but being lied to multiple times after they received our money has put a bitter taste in my mouth. This company was very friendly for the first two payouts (nothing was done yet). Getting to the actual building of our home was delayed more than 8 weeks past the original set date of 1-10 days after delivery of materials. This was the mildest winter on record since the early 1900's (fact check if you choose too), however this company repeatedly stated they would be out there at the end of almost every week for 8 weeks straight!!!!
Now, I am sure for people who don't work, don't have children, or families this is okay, they have time to spare but taking off work to be out there is harder for some people. the builders GUARANTEED that someone would be out there 1/4/16, & stated I had to be out there so I took off work, nobody showed up, and nobody called till 4pm!! Still mistakes happen, no worries and brushed the dirt off. They then said later that week someone will be out there, HA - another lie.
Come the following week they call on Thursday after not returning my calls, and say they will be out there on Friday at 7am, and to have someone there. My husband takes off work to be out there, they call him at 11am and state they will be out there around 6pm. So he took the whole day off, and they'll be late. Yet again they call around 4:30pm and say, 'Hey, we haven't left [redacted] yet, but we are about too, we will be out there Saturday morning at 7am!"
So my husband again takes work off on Saturday to be out there, they call him at 6:30am and say, "We are just leaving, we will be out there around 4pm tonight!"
They could have had at least a common curtesy to call the night before and inform us that [redacted] could have went to work, however, this company has no sense of respect, time frames or courtesy to make a simple call.
I would never recommend this business for anyone, these builders are a scam and in it solely for the money. After you pay them they will show up when they see fit, not when they say they will, or when the contract says they will be there. The building appears to be nice aesthetically, but I would never give this company another dime! The only reason we did not have them take all the materials back and buy from someone else is because there is a 10-20% of total price restocking fee and 250-300$ cancellation fee& if this company was getting any of our money, we had better get a building. Please stay clear, I recommend Morton buildings, FBI buildings in [redacted] and Wick builders, FANTASTIC companies and customer services.
