Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Please note that the countertop has yet to be repaired. The owner (Eric Bloch) stated that they have paid for this to be repaired and I'm sure he will, it has yet to be done. So, his statement is false and he is now "fabricating" a story to the Revdex.com. Until the countertop is repaired I will not accept this as being resolved.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
[redacted]

Regardless of how this small chip happened, we agreed to pay for the repair. I don't know what else Mr. [redacted] is after. It is our hope that this matter will resolved to Mr. [redacted]"s satisfaction.

The matter has been taken care of, The countertop was repaired to new condition and paid for by me to the countertop company that repaired, sold and installed it.This was done as soon as they were able to accommodate Mr. [redacted] schedule.I do not believe that our company did the damage of the...

“chip” on the corner, nor does the countertop folks.  It appeared to them that it was caused by the range being pushed back into place by the owner as we never pushed in into place, we only slid it out for a diagnostic on the range and were told to leave it out because they wanted to clean. When the range is in place it covers over the bottom corner and you would never see a chip if it was already there. The countertop company told me that Mr. [redacted] specific type of  Quartz countertop is so prone to Chipping that they had Mr. [redacted] sign a waver to that effect with them.I was told that Mr. [redacted]  was going to contact you and make things right as they said, it appears they did not. I am sending you the letter I drafted earlier that goes into more detail.  I understand that you only have half of the story, but his story is mostly a total fabrication, of course I have no way of proving this to you, I can only hope you can see the truth in all of this.As a goodwill gesture we did have the countertop repaired right away to new condition at our expense. You will receive my original letter draft regarding this shortly.Sincerely,[redacted]     Bloch Appliance   262-377-8530

Review: We had an issue with our oven on 2/4/16. We called the store that we bought it from (Colders) as it was still under warranty. They sent Bloch Appliance to our home to look at the issue. My wife met with the technician who stated he was the owner. He pulled the oven from the wall and in doing so, caught the corner our quartz counter top (counter tops are less than 9 months old). My wife heard a loud pop and saw something fly in the air. However, because the technician was in the kitchen with the stove pulled out my wife could not get in to see the damage. As the technician continued working on the stove he noticed that he didn't have all the nessecary items to complete the repair. So, he told my wife he'd come back out the next day to complete the repair as he would have all the nessecary parts. He then abruptly left without moving the stove back in place. My wife then had an opportunity to identify the counter top damage and also found the chipped piece laying on the floor. We confronted the technician the following day when he came back to complete the repairs. He was very adamant that he did not do it and for very defense. The situation elevate and the technician asked to step outside to make a call. He then came back in and backtracked his statement that he's not actually the owner. He did contact the owner who told him to leave without making the repairs. The technician called the next to apologize and wanted to come back to the home to finish the repairs. At that point we did not feel comfortable with having him in our home.

I have since had conversations with the owner who again denies anything happened on the account of his technician. He even went as far to state that we did it and need to settle down as its not that big of a deal.Desired Settlement: We would like Bloch Appliance to pay for all necessary repairs to the counter top including but not limited to a complete replacement of the damaged slab.
