Blood Sweat & Tears LLC Reviews (11)

This is a review of my experience with BST Construction (Blood Sweat & Tears LLC)Did a home remodeling project through Home Depot using BSTFirst off, Mr Gil F*, BST Construction RMG, missed the original meeting that was set up Besides not showing up, he didn't return my call This action caused an day delay in my project that was being done for a VA loan I went to Home Depot to reschedule and asked that they not use BST as they had already displayed horrible business practicesWell MrF [redacted] showed up and I decided since he was there to use BST because I didn't want additional delays in my projectThe price was just under $14,dollars payable up front By the way, this is illegal in California He said the money was held by Home Depot as a sort of escrow account and BST gets paid as work progresses MrF [redacted] also stated that the price was max value, but could be less Everytime we used time and money saving options however, I never got any reduction in priceI asked MrF [redacted] for an itemized list of work performed via text and emails and he flat out didn't respond I also had some discrepancies caused by his workers that required corrective action Again no response Not until I sent Home Depot an email days later and CC'ed MrF* Then he responded within an hour Amazing! The workers were courteous and steady workers, but MrF*'s actions were sneaky, misleading and unproffesional

We gave her a refund for the work we did not do its over Thank you *** *** VP Business Development BST Construction, LLC Office: ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:I have not received the refund check of $1,and no invoice for the amount the company is
keeping. At this point, I am out $3,on my credit card and no invoice for services rendered At this point, it appears that I have been taken to the cleaners

On August 30, 2017, I entered into an agreement with BST Construction regarding the installation of new patio doorThe referral to this company was received through Home AdvisorsThe reason for the requested new door is because I have a disability that requires me to use a scooter for mobilityThe weight of the scooter passing over the threshold of the previous door had been completely damage because the material is plasticDuring the price estimate, I thoroughly explained to Mr*** ***, owner of BST Construction, I wanted a steel threshold for the new door to prevent the same occurrence of breakageI also asked that a screen door be installed for ventilationMy initial choice was French doors because I knew they were equipped with a metal thresholdMr*** *** then told me he could also accommodate the same request with a sliding French doorHe indicated the door is lightweight and could be opened and closed with two fingersHe showed me a brochure with photos of b

I had water spots/stains on my kitchen ceiling I called BST Construction and the company owner gave me a quote of $2,to open up drywall and determine what was leaking and to deal with mold I was concerned about mold and let the business owner know that and the owner stated that with these kind of circumstances, there would definitely be mold, how much though and to what extremes he could not be able to say until he opened up the drywall He also gave me a quote of $1,to glaze my master tub and $for installing some baseboard for me Company required a deposit of $1,to start, $for the drywall/mold issue and $for the tub glazing Company came out on a Tuesday, cut a hole in my kitchen ceiling, and when I arrived home that evening there was a fan on and hooked to the kitchen ceiling I was told by the owner that this fan would need to run for about 2-days continuous The owner called me Thursday but I missed the call Then he called on Friday morning ar

Re: #- Complaint from *** ***We have spoken with *** *** this morning and have CC'd her on this email reply. We have been instructed by Bertha that this is the correct method in which to update the Revdex.com of an active resolution with the homeowner regarding this matter. You
may refer to the attached .pdf file for the resolution to this matter. In summary, the homeowner is going to hire a new contractor, order a new door, and have them install it. We are all in agreement that this is the best solution at this time. Please note it is our position on this matter is that Ms *** has more than a few versions that are different than what we have on record. There a history of misunderstanding or miscommunication that no longer benefits either party. In addition, there are several areas of her complaint that are a clear subversion of the facts. Here is just one, to make note of, in case the proposed resolution becomes tenuous."...Again, after not hearing from anyone at BST Construction, I called the first week of OctoberI spoke to the office manager, ***, who explained the door was being delivered to my home and the installation was scheduled on Saturday, October 7, 2017."Sounds reasonable, right? Except, it's misleading and here's why...I am *** and can speak to her statement directly.I have record on my personal cell phone that I CALLED HER on Oct 4th, not the other way around.I was doing it as a courtesy to update her on the door delivery status (which was to be about weeks from order date).I DID NOT schedule installation at that time because it would have been IMPOSSIBLE, since the door had still not arrived. We could go over her entire complaint in detail, as I have done above, but that may not be necessary at this time. It is our intention and hope that the resolution outlined and reiterated in the attached email will come to fruition and that the homeowner may be reimbursed once we recover the door that we installed.Thank you for keeping this correspondence on file and for record of our continuing attempts to make the appropriate and timely decisions.Regards,*** ***Blood Sweat & Tears, LLC

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] must have forgotten, I called her as she was exiting the shower who then informed me the door was being delivered to my home. She further said, it was her intention to call me when she got into the office. It’s amazing how everyone at BST Construction conviently forgets important details. Any calls in the future will be recorded.
