I received a parking violation from a site managed my SP Plus, even though I paid and had a receipt My only guess is that I did not have the receipt displayed on my dashboard, but nowhere on the receipt or on the payment kiosk did it say to display the receipt on my dashboard I specifically checked because I had small children with me and was hoping to not have to walk all the way back to my vehicle to display the receipt
Before leaving the parking lot I snapped a picture of the payment kiosk and made sure I had my receipt I disputed the citation on their citations.spplus.com site and included a picture of my receipt, the picture I took of the kiosk, along with my explanation, and within minutes received an email saying my citation had been voided after further review
I expected at least a little bit of a fight but instead received a quick, painless resolution, much to my satisfaction

The company has been double and triple charging my card for parking I park at an SP+ parking lot for work, across the street from my office buildingI recently got an app that alerts you to suspicious bank activityI got an alert from the app today, and sure enough, instead of charging me $once, they were charging me times for parkingI started looking at my bank and credit card records and the company has done this NUMEROUS times in the past year that I have parked hereHave not been able to get a refund for all the times they charged extra

This is, by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. The lack of professionalism is very evident. This company took over our cities parking situation in its entirety. This involves, but is not limited to, parking enforcement, parking garages, parking assessments etc. Those I have been in contact with are very unprofessional. In one instance, for example, I called about a vehicle parked on the red curb. When the parking officer finally arrived, they could clearly see the vehicle was in direct violation of city code regarding red curbs. A person walked up to him they started talking. This went on for fifteen minutes. Around twenty minutes went by, still no ticket issued. Then the owners show up, words are exchanged, but still, no ticket. I called SP Plus, asked why that vehicle was not cited? At that very moment, the officer who was out there, walked into the office. The young women handed the phone over to him. I asked about the disposition of that vehicle. He stated that his ticketing machine was broken. At which I replied that this was not an excuse for not ticketing that vehicle. His reply was, "stop telling me how to do my job" and then he literally hung up on me. I called back. I called back over a dozen times and kept getting a recording. When a young women finally answered the phone, I asked her what is the name of the officer I was speaking to? She literally refused to give me his name. Citing company rules etc. Before I go on, I have been dealing with parking problems on my street for well over a decade going. I have tried everything. I have written letters, emails. Been to various meetings. Even a public meeting with the mayor. To date, nothing has ever been done to create a fair and balanced parking situation on my street or adjacent streets. Then SP Plus comes in. This company is not professional period. They hire individuals that are obviously incapable of conducting themselves in a professional manner. Further, I pay to park here. Every resident does. Yet, the laws are broken every single day and this company cannot get the job done.

If you are a city or municipality or some other entity in need of parking management, stay away from this company or go with them and deal with the consequences. I see nothing good coming from entering into a contract with a company that cannot get the job done. Our city, took the lazy way out by contracting with this company. That may be the cities fault for entering into a contract with this company, but the fact remains, SP Plus is not a professional company period. I sincerely would advise anyone from utilizing their services. On any level.

If you have a parking violation and are looking for additional information because parking ticket info is undecipherable. Forget it. My daughter drove car and did not inform me of ticket. I tried to reach out to SP but their web site only handles monthly parking inquiries. Plus when told to call local Cincinnati office where occurred I got bounced to voice mail saying to contact by email which is only for monthly clients. I put in a credit card and decided to not proceed for I wanted to put on my daughters card instead. I did not proceed with paying but Standard Parking put a hold on my credit card for $54 of the $73 asked for. I went ahead and used my daughters card to pay for. I would hope the hold on my other card will be released. Also, I called their legal counsel [redacted] because that is how I became aware of citation. They told me to go to website on citations to contact SP. The problem is they only permit you to pay. No contact for parking citation is provided. I hope this is helpful in knowing if you have a citation you either pay or not pay. They have no interest in providing platform for discussing.
