Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Bloomberg L.P. regarding complaint ID [redacted].However, as of today 6/*/2016, I have not receive any additional billing or the BusinessWeek publications.Sincerely,[redacted]

Our records reflect that the $28 charge was refunded to [redacted] credit card and that the refund was processed on August **, 2016, the same date that [redacted] communicated with customer service, according to his complaint.  His subscription has been canceled.

Review: I had a subscription to Bloomberg Businessweek a while back and did not want to renew it and I told them this when I signed up. just yesterday I received notification that they had renewed my contract to cover next year for $63.60. My subscription was a long time ago and this came out of the blue. very concerning.Desired Settlement: I'd like to know that something has been done about this. They shouldn't be able to get away with this. They already apologized but that's not enough.

Review: We signed up for this government research tool nearly 2 years ago. We were not taking full advantage of the system and decided to cancel our services just after we completed our 1 year mark. We notified them we did NOT want to continue the service but the fine print in the contract required be give notice well prior to our cancellation date. They would not allow us to cancel our contract without giving them 50% of an entire year's subscription which is nearly $6000. So, we continued to pay them for the service we did not want anymore and were not using. 3 months ago, we notified them that we just wanted to cancel and pay the 50% fee of what was left. They agreed to letting us do that.

However, they kept and keep sending us bogus notices for payment despite being paid the balance they requested. We get a notice at least 2 times per week with threats about payment when they have received the payment but not recorded the payment due to an internal issue with sending the check to the right department. They have wasted a significant amount of my time and that of my bookkeeper that I have to pay for. There business practices of harassing and hound small businesses is disgusting and really disappointing.Desired Settlement: In light of the harassment from Bloomberg for a number of months for services we did not utilize and were forced to pay for, I would like them to refund the money we paid them this year Additionally, I need a full apology from someone other than the financial rep. Lastly, I want the harassment emails to stop. I am so tired of dealing with these issues. It has wasted a lot of my time.

Review: I am a [redacted] widow, just stating a fact. Bloomberg Businessweek's "FREE" copy is dropped off at the end of my driveway EVERY FRIDAY. I have called a total of 14x to have them stop! I AM NOT A BUSINESS AND DO NOT WANT THIS THING. I have been treated extremely rudely, and like an it for complaining. "I keep repeating I don't have a subscription" - their response - "then we cannot help you". Excuse me? They have taken my name my phone my address "to find a subscription" and then tell me they don't have one under my name. I am not making this up!They have no business calling their department "customer service". I am being harassed and they don't get it.My last call was to New York on Nov. *, 2013 to the magazine. my next step is to file police report.Desired Settlement: HAVE THEM STOP HARASSING ME! I DO NOT WANT THIS MAGAZINE!

At this time, I have not been contacted by bloomberg businessweek magazine regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I never ordered Bloomberg Magazine. It just started to appear in my mailbox. I wrote a short note to them telling them I did not want the magazine and to please stop sending it. I also called at one point and they said they would stop it but they never did. Then I got the enclosed "Rate Adjustment" as they called it. It is just a bill for something I did not request and have tried to stop. I refuse to pay for something I don't want.Desired Settlement: Just stop the magazine from coming and stop the billing no matter what the "rate adjustment" maybe.

Review: I subscribed to Bloomberg's Businessweek publication at a discounted rate through the Delta Mu Delta honor society. On April **, 2015, my subscription was up for renewal; I logged into my account online and noticed that the discounted rate was no longer offered. I e-mailed customer service explaining the situation and asking specifically if the rates had changed and the only response I received was that they had processed my renewal and would send me an invoice - there was no indication of price and my question went unanswered. I responded to the customer service representative stating that I did not authorize a renewal and my question was not answered and she replied back that she renewed my subscription at the discounted rate and would then cancel it.

I am still receiving notices in the mail for an amount due for a subscription which I never authorized, and I can find no other contact information for the publication other than the customer service department which created the problem.Desired Settlement: I would like my outstanding balance adjusted to zero as I did not authorize a renewal and no longer wish to subscribe at any rate.

Review: I was a subscriber to Bloomberg BusinessWeek. I was contacted for renewal and decided not to renew. Bloomberg stopped sending me magazines. That was good.

However, they now send me a letter with the following verbiage:

" Last Chance to settle your past-due Bloomberg Businessweek Account before it is referred to our credit & collection unit"

Bloomberg BusinessWeek doesn't provide magazines unless they are pre-paid. I did not receive one magazine from Bloomberg for which I did not pay.

It is dishonest and unethical to pressure people to pay with threat of sending to a collection unit for a service that was not rendered.

I have a FICO score that is over 800. I pay my bills on time and would never dream of not paying for a good or service that I have received.

It is disappointing that BusinessWeek would use such dishonest business practices.Desired Settlement: For business week to stop sending predatory mailings pressuring people to renew their subscriptions.

Review: someone keeps dropping bloomberg booklets in my driveway. I never requested them, I don't want them, I am [redacted] and it is difficult for me to pick them up off the ground.Desired Settlement: stop all deliveries!
