Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards, [redacted] *** I am amazed at the arrogance expressed by the florist " One complaint is plus years is not too bad" only means that your other clients either don't know the Revdex.com exists or simply whimpered away if they weren't happy They clearly don't know about social media because your company is starkly absent on most mediums Reading through your essay you admit that you had alerts and warnings about possibly being unable to provide the ivy but you did not let the family of the bride know until the very day of the wedding and you have the nerve to say that was better than just not showing up with anything! We don't know about different types of ivy or which shoots are best - that's why we supposedly hired you - at your price I might add My entire complaint simply revolved around the extra $that I had to pay and you seem to indicate that you intended to refund it to us but somehow you were unable to find either my wife or myself on the day of the wedding Really? I am happy to provide you with a P.OBox so you can refund us the $as you intended to do all along

[redacted]   Blooms Forever Events [redacted]   In reference to a wedding for Ivy Poye June 20th, 2015   English ivy was planned in different arena's throughout the room, including long ivy off of 3 quite large...

chandeliers centered in the ballroom.   We had no issues with assuring our family and Bride to accommodate her on these wishes.   We have a wonderful grower out in California for the flux of the ivy and at my home on the creek I have long lush ivy always growing out of my trees at that time.   With the 3 months of intense rain we were having in this area this spring, the long shoots were just not growing ( wet weather creates short stocky bunches to grow, not the long growth).  Our first shipment of ivy out of California was fine for a candle centerpiece project although not the long lush growth we were expecting for the large chandeliers.  Our grower assured us he was able to accommodate and was getting another shipment ready but would not arrive until Saturday morning.  We immediately began a search for more just to make sure.  All the growers we knew were having the same issues; with the cloudy weather the long shoots were not coming on as normal, just short pieces and they were not healthy.   When the last shipment arrived unsuitable I felt I should call [redacted] Mother of the Bride to inform her of our issues and that we were still searching, but wanted to let them know of the issues just in case.  Also, at that time, I told her if in the case we could not perform out the job she would be fully reimbursed.  I felt a 6 hour window was far better than showing up at the reception with no ivy produced.  After the phone call we were able to find some at one of our growers that had  baskets out on rental prior that just came back in that would do the job.  [redacted], owner of the event company that had hired us, said to let them take care of telling [redacted] of our find and we went forward with putting it up.   Earlier in the day the event company had text me that they had found some ivy baskets that they had on hold if we needed it but we declined knowing we had more than needed with our find.   After arriving at the venue we realized that they had gone ahead and purchased the baskets of ivy although it was not the variety that could be cut and hold up nicely, it would have wilted.  We offered to take it back for them although they chose to cut off the hangers and place in different areas around the rooms for decor.  At the end of the evening I had taken $300 to give them although I could not find the family or staff.     Stressing a family or Bride is never anything we would ever do, and we did everything we could to correct the issue as it appeared to us successfully; the chandeliers were very pretty and lush looking as the family had asked.   I felt it was my responsibility to inform the family in a timely manner of the issues that we were having in case we could not find more.   One complaint in 23 years is not too bad!   [redacted]

[redacted] I am amazed at the arrogance expressed by the florist.  " One complaint is 20 plus years is not too bad" only means that your other clients either don't know the Revdex.com exists or simply whimpered away if they weren't happy.  They clearly don't know about social media because your company is starkly absent on most mediums.  Reading through your essay you admit that you had alerts and warnings about possibly being unable to provide the ivy but you did not let the family of the bride know until the very day of the wedding and you have the nerve to say that was better than just not showing up with anything!  We don't know about different types of ivy or which shoots are best - that's why we supposedly hired you - at your price I might add.  My entire complaint simply revolved around the extra $300.00 that I had to pay and you seem to indicate that you intended to refund it to us but somehow you were unable to find either my wife or myself on the day of the wedding.  Really?  I am happy to provide you with a P.O. Box so you can refund us the $300.00 as you intended to do all along.
