In response to the complaint filed from [redacted] dated February 18, 2014, I am sorry that I couldn't communicate better the situation she has referred to your officeWhen we spoke on the phone, I told her that the delivery trucks delivery systems are computer controlled, and it is next to impossible for a delivery to be as inaccurate as she believes hers wasThe trucks' metering systems are tested by the Weights & Measures of the State of Virginia on a regular basis, and if any variance is found, the truck is removed from service until it is corrected, and retestedThis is industry wide practiceAlso, we would have had multiple calls about deliveries being incorrect, and that has not been the case I am sure that this was an instance of the coldest prolonged weather that this region has experienced in decadesFuel consumption has been high for every energy supplier simply due to the fact that it has taken much more energy to heat customers' homes and businessesWhen she called in for delivery on the 22nd of January, her tank was at 37%, and on February 2nd the tank was at 47%, without getting too technical with the numbers, this is approximately gallons used in daysThe temperatures for the most part during this timeframe was degrees below the winter temps for this areaThere were several days with -degrees nighttime and daytime temps of 15-The average daily usage would have been gallons, and an average sized furnace will use over a gallon of propane an hourThere is the answer for why Mrs***s believing the delivery was short As to her saying I wasn't interested in coming out looking at the gauge on her tank, I explained to her there was no way to tell anything about the gauge working or not unless the tank was being filled at the timeAnd, our drivers typically make note when they discover a problem with a gauge, whether it is a customer owned tank or company owned equipment Blossman has been in the customer service business for over years, with thousands of satisfied customers, and we strive to make each and every one happyWe have since contacted Mrs***, and settled her questions Thank You, [redacted] Branch Manager Blossman Propane
I called for a refill because we are below 30% and on auto refill. When I called to request early delivery the lady was very rude and argued with me about having more propane than we should. We are getting 20 inches of snow and they are delaying delivery and now I can't get a hold of anyone. I'm not satisfied at all and want someone else to speak with.

impossible for a delivery to be as inaccurate as she believes hers was. The trucks' metering systems are tested by the Weights & Measures of the State of Virginia on a regular basis, and if any variance is found, the truck is removed from service until it is corrected, and retested. I am sure that this was an instance of the coldest prolonged weather that this region has experienced in decades. Fuel consumption has been high for every energy supplier simply due to the fact that it has taken much more energy to heat customers' homes and businesses. When she called in for delivery on the 22nd of January, her tank was at 37%, and on February 2nd the tank was at 47%, without getting too technical with the numbers, this is approximately 75 gallons used in 12 days. The temperatures for the most part during this timeframe was 20 degrees below the normal winter temps for this area. There were several days with 5 -12 degrees nighttime and daytime temps of 15-19. The average daily usage would have been 6.25 gallons, and an average sized furnace will use over a gallon of propane an hour. There is the answer for why Mrs. [redacted]s believing the delivery was short.
As to her saying I wasn't interested in coming out looking at the gauge on her tank, I explained to her there was no way to tell anything about the gauge working or not unless the tank was being filled at the time. And, our drivers typically make note when they discover a problem with a gauge, whether it is a customer owned tank or company owned equipment.

I ordered 250 gallons of gas from Blossman in Easley, I was charged for 287.9, gallons When the driver left my husband checked the gage and it was 85% full so if you order gas in the Liberty area stay with driver and check before he leaves. This is not the 1st time this has happened with Blossman.
Review: I ordered 125 gallons of propane on 1/22. Delivery took palce on 1/27 while my husband and I were working. We did not receive 125 gallons. We received approximately 60 gallons; however the invoice I received states that 125.5 gallons were delivered. Prior to delivery, we had approximately 175 gallons of propane in our tank. After delivery, we had 235 gallons, which is clearly a difference of 60 gallons, not 125. I have contacted Blossman's manager, [redacted], twice about this (Feb 6th, and Feb 11th). On both occasions, he has said he would investigate and call me back, but he has yet to investigate or call me back. He asked if the tank's gauge might be stuck, but the gauge is moving properly as we use the fuel. We have checked for leaks, and there are none. I have offered Mr. [redacted] the opportunity to come out and look at the gauge himself, but he is not interested in that. I do not think I should be billed for something I obviously did not receive. I also think Mr. [redacted] shows a blatant lack of concern for his customer based on his response to my attempts to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: Either the remaining 65 gallons should be delivered (at an agreed time so I can verify delivery), or the bill should be adjusted to reflect only the 60 gallons of propane delivered.
