My gosh was I surprisedI also seen that the name of the dr on my E.O.Bdidn't match anyone I seen in that officeI'm not happy with the turn out of sneakiness this office seems to haveApparently I am not the only one this has happened to and I would like to get my money back and see why they think can charge my insurance for services not renderedI will be fighting with them and contacting my insurance to file an investigationI hope they will reconsider having a 3rd party billing company in the future

At first I really liked Blossom. The staff seemed caring and willing to work with me financially. 7 visits and a few months later, the billing person, [redacted] had told some lies and given me false information. I had to hear from [redacted] (midwife) that my balance kept getting higher and higher from what I was originally told. Not to mention, my deductible with my insurance had mysteriously changed it's amount 3 times. I was misled to believe that my balance was almost paid off to owing them another $3000+. This was very unsettling since I was 36 weeks pregnant by this time. [redacted] had informed [redacted] that I was not responding to her emails or calls. Emails and calls I never received. I was also unaware that they would be trying to charge my bank card $200 every week for the past few months. I found this to be very unsettling that they would trust someone to do their billing who is liar. Being a birthing center I trusted them to be different and not rip off people. After being accused of being a liar, I decided to end my care there. I sent [redacted] a message to please bill my ins for the office visits. Later she tells me that I am being charged $200 per visit. Keep in my mind the visit only includes my blood pressure and baby heartbeat being checked, then we just talk the rest of the 45 mins. Nothing more, nothing less. To me $200 seems like an outrageous amount since an at home midwife is $100 and they do more services per visit. So I decide to look into this a little further and figure out that $200 per session is exactly how much I have already paid them, (A bit odd to me how that worked out). A few days pass and I get my E.O.B. From my insurance and they have billed for $3,850!! My gosh was I surprised. I also seen that the name of the dr on my E.O.B. didn't match anyone I seen in that office. I'm not happy with the turn out of sneakiness this office seems to have. Apparently I am not the only one this has happened to and I would like to get my money back and see why they think can charge my insurance for services not rendered. I will be fighting with them and contacting my insurance to file an investigation. I hope they will reconsider having a 3rd party billing company in the future.
