I contacted Blossom Landscaping owned by Terrence [redacted] who gave me an estimate of at least $6,000.00 less than 4 other landscapers. Of course I jumped on it.
the contract called for fill for steep areas of the yard and tri mix for the sod areas of the yard and for fencing. At the beginning of the job a load of tri mix was delivered. I asked about the fill that was not delivered and was told he ordered enough tri m ix to cover the entire yard. The tri mix was barely enough to cover the yard and was not what the contract stipulated. The fence was installed crooked and the gates were unable to be opened. I contacted Terry about the gate and he fixed the gate in order to open them. I attempted to open the gates after he left and could not do so. I hired another contractor to replace the gates. I in my greed of saving 6 thousand dollars went with Blossom. I paid Terry [redacted] the full asking price and did not receive what was in the contract.

I had a contract with Terry to do a driveway entrance. I gave him $1000 down and work started the next morning. The very next day he informed me that he was not aware of the city regulations for doing the required work within code. He demanded an additional $900 from me to be paid to him immediately. I asked him to sit down with me to discuss it as I felt blindsided by this sudden increase in price. He refused to substantiate the additional charges in a satisfactory manner. I asked him what his costs were going to be and instead of being upfront about that he insisted on telling he how much more he wanted for this item or that item. I told him that I didn't want him to end up with anything coming directly out of his pocket but that I wanted the costs of the job substantiated so that we could come to an agreement. Terry is not licensed, bonded, nor insured. If he or one of his workers is hurt on your property expect to pick up the tab. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN.
