My grandfather hip was hurting and was provided physical therapy through this company. They called to schedule an appointment, obtain an address and we both agreed on the appt. day and time 2 days prior. We weren't able to get a name or a number. No one came for the appointment or even called to tell us that they couldn't make it. A week later they call to schedule another appointment at which we told them what had happened the week prior to which they replied "oh". We just schedule an appointment because my grandpa had been waiting for a week. The appointment was at 1pm but a physical therapist showed up to our house at 11am. They are unprofessional and if you can obtain a different company, please do for the sake of your family.

The Director of Nursing for this business and it's nursing staff are completely unprofessional, and lack business integrity when working with clients.

RNs that come out to your home lack respect, and take advantage of the casual environment they work in. Instead of having an undivided attention on the patient and the services needed, the nurses are completely absorbed in what is happening around them. They are constantly on their cell phones engaging in non-business related conversations, and even text their clients instead of communicating with them in a more professional manner. Often there are others present at the time of a scheduled visit, and nurses are rude and condescending to family and friends.

When attempting to file a complaint, the Director of Nursing for this agency disregarded the information I provided. He chose his staff's word over my own as the client and demonstrated no need to retain business. He spoke over me several times during our interaction, and even recommended that he discharge me from services as a solution to my issue.

I felt that I was in need of IHSS (In Home Support Services) and had a very in-depth conversation with a member of his staff who agreed after several visits to assist in filing the necessary paperwork to make this happen. A few weeks later I received a notice in the mail that stated I was denied. When I called to get more information, they stated the RN who filed the paperwork noted that IHSS was not needed at this time. This completely contradicted the verbal conversation I had with this staff member and now I am having to either appeal the decision or wait 90 days to start the process over again.

My experience with Blossom Ridge has been a complete nightmare and I am going to be looking for another business; one with a high degree of professionalism and one who really looks into their client's feedback with a sense of urgency.
