We received customer, [redacted]'s exchange request in our office on April 4th, 2014. Her exchange request included two pairs of the style Silvia, which the customer bought on clearance. In addition, one of the pair of Silvia, in dark brown, had signs of wear. Our return policy, which can be found...

on our website on www.blowfishshoes.com, states "Clearance items are all final sale, and cannot be returned or exchanged". Our return policy also states "Items must be unworn and in new condition", this is also stated on the return/exchange form that is shipped out with every customer order. As a courtesy, we fulfilled the exchange request on the unworn pair of Silvia, even though it is a clearance item, and returned the damaged pair to the customer instead of discarding at our warehouse, which is the normal procedure on worn/damaged returns. We did send an email to the customer informing her of the situation. 
We value good customer service and hope that each customer that shoes with us is satisfied. Unfortunately, we no longer have the style Silvia available in the size the customer needs. However, we will gladly fulfill [redacted]'s exchange request with a style of her choice, up to a $14.99 value, which is the price paid for the original merchandise. If this is something that interests the customer, she may email me at [redacted]@blowfishshoe.com with her style choice.

Review: I purchased two pairs of shoes from Blowfish Malibu on 8/22. Unfortunately, both pairs were too small, so I sent them back for an exchange, and they were both exchanged for half a size up with no issues and no communication that there might be any issues. Upon receipt of the shoes, one pair was still half a size too small, and I used the enclosed return/exchange form to mail them back for a larger size. Shortly after, I received an email stating that clearance items are not accepted for return or exchange and that they were shipping the ill-fitting shoes back to me, as a courtesy. I was not informed when I first exchanged the shoes that this policy was in effect; indeed, the shoes were exchanged with no issues and no communication of issues the first time around. Blowfish is keeping my money and sending me shoes that I can't wear, and they cheerily suggested to me that I should simply donate the shoes. I'm frustrated that my conflict with the company was so glibly brushed off.Desired Settlement: If I can't have the shoes in the proper size, I just want a refund. I don't care if the refund is via the credit card used to purchase the shoes or in store credit.

Review: Only exchanging one pair of shoes I bought. They state excessive wear. Shoes were tried on and returned to box. Refusing to exchange other set.Order #[redacted] I ordered these shoes last month. They didn't fit so I sent them back for exchange. a couple days later. Only yesterday did I get an email stating they were sending one pair of exchanged shoes and no explaination or indication of the status of the other one. I called today spoke with a woman who didn't know what was going on and in the end said that there was more wear than on carpet, the house I live in has tile, concrete and hardwood floors. I explaind this to her and she refused to be of any assistance to me. She said that they are sending back the "damaged" shoe that I couldn't fit in the first place. I was not made aware until this phone call that you couldn't exchange clearance items. There was nothing in the original packaging that stated this. It even included a return label. There is such a disconnect and lack of customer service regarding my order. If shoes are too small how is one to wear them? She stated that she didn't know. Refused to exchange the other pair of shoes or refund me my money. I received the exchanged pair of shoes. They were the right color this time. The first order had two pairs of brown colored shoes. One pair was darker than the other. There was only one pair of shoes in the box. When I had called the company they had stated to me that they had shipped the "worn" shoes back with the pair they exchanged. The "worn" pair wasn't in the box as the lady had indicated.Desired Settlement: I just want the shoe in the right size. There was no wear beyond my trying them on and I don't feel this is right. The who transaction of how I've been treated with the exchange has been horrid. No notification that they received the return, no notification as to why they didn't exchange the other pair. I have to call and find out from a woman who was rude, couldn't understand my order or concern, then doesn't aid in assisting with the issue resolution. Any other shoe site, store, etc. that I have dealt with has had no problems with assisting me in the past regarding exchanges/ returns. I don't know why this company has to be so difficult.

Review: I placed an online order with this company for one pair of shoes on 4/16/15. I did not receive an email confirmation for the order as promised on the order confirmation page, but my bank account was charged $45.95. The shoes were $39.00 and the shipping charges were $6.95. I called the company and was told my order had been received, but I never received an email confirmation after the phone call, nor did I ever receive an email stating my order had ever been shipped (which the company's website states is their practice). It has been a week and I have heard nothing from the company. I have emailed them asking about this order and they have not responded. I have paid for an item which not only have I not received, I cannot even get a response from the company to determine the status of the order or to request a refund.Desired Settlement: I expect an IMMEDIATE response from the company. I know my order was received, because I have been charged for it; however, I cannot find out whether it has been processed and shipped. If it has not been shipped, I expect my shipping charges to be fully refunded.
