This is in response to Complaint ID # [redacted] Ms [redacted] came to the location 2-times in order to purchase a home officeThe Store Manager, Leo H [redacted] , was the sales associate, and after some subtle changes, Ms [redacted] decided on a "L" unit with hutch and an additional storage cabinetMs [redacted] paid for "delivery and installation" of the unit, scheduled @ noon 2/24/Because of the torrential down pour that day, we decided to assemble the unit at Ms***'s home, otherwise the unit, assembled, would be subjected to rain...not goodShe agreed to allow Leo to assemble it at the houseShe actually brought in a chair and sat down in the same room to watch/supervise? When Leo plugged in the battery charger for the drill, her response was "so you're going to use my electricity, too?" In the process of assembling the unit Leo stepped on one for the piecesThis is COMMON PRACTICE! WE STEP ON PIECES ALL THE TIME! At this point Ms [redacted] told Leo she didn't want the unit, to box it up ant take it back to the location and issue her a refundLeo removed the furniture and we consented to a refund of $Office Furniture Warehouse issues refunds within a day periodMs [redacted] sent an e-mail week of 3/7/asking the status of her refundVia e-mail I stated that it would be sent certified check, week of 3/14/16, could you please verify the correct address and I would need your full first name for the check and our recordsWe only had "Ms***." Her response "Dis sufficient." In turn, my response was "not for my bank and our records." Today, 3/16/16, Ms [redacted] decided to be forthcoming with her first name "Dawn" via e-mail but she was "going to check with the Federal Government."????The certified refund check for $was mail to Ms [redacted] today 3/16/16.I have been in retail sales for years, years owning this businessI believe this is the first Revdex.com letter/complaint ever for Office Furniture Warehouse I was extremely proud of Leo (and myself), for how the Ms [redacted] situation was handled.......professional and with the utmost courtesyBecause I have to tell you in years, I have rarely had to deal with someone as rude, condescending, obnoxious, and utterly miserable as Dawn ***We BOTH BIT OUR TONGUES DEALING WITH HER! If you are a miserable person........that your your issueBut when you constantly and consistently project that misery into everything you do and on to everyone you come in contact with, then that is another issueI guess I should feel sorry for MsDawn ***.........but I don't! God gives you one chance at life and "free will" on how you to live itGood Ridance!!!! On June 23rd I contacted Ryerson Concrete LLC to request a quote to remove a deck and extend my existing concrete patio I was told that I would receive a call from George to set up an appointment When I had not yet heard from George by Monday June 27th, I placed another call at 11:a.mand asked if there was someone else with whom I might be able to set up an appointment for a quote The receptionist confirmed that she had a record of my call on the 23rd, apologized that I had not received a return call and informed me that she was passing my message along to Craig who would be in touch I was extremely disappointed that no one from this company ever bothered to return my call I found this to be very unprofessional and not very customer focused If the job I had was "too small" for them to consider taking a half hour of time to quote, the courteous thing to do would be to call and let me know that they were not interested in pursuing the business

Ms. [redacted] sent an e-mail week of 3/7/16 asking the status of her refund. Via e-mail I stated that it would be sent certified check, week of 3/14/16, could you please verify the correct address and I would need your full first name for the check and our records. We only had "Ms. [redacted]." Her response "D. is sufficient." In turn, my response was "not for my bank and our records."
