This order was placed before Christmas, the customer realized that they would like to place an order for another piece and was told the original order was cancelled, unfortunately both orders were shipped out and unable to be cancelled, we set up a return shipping label and a return for the original order and refunded the customer’s shipping fees for the original order

The customer chose shipping using [redacted] and purchased two watches China customs does not allow two watches to be declared in the same boxOnce the customer contacted us, the watches were already within customs and unable to be cleared The customer service manager at the time authorized an RTS (return to sender) on this package and on and the customer was refunded the full amount as requested

We are sorry the customer finds our response unsatisfactory The customer was sent a watch that was free of blemishes and scratches however the watch we received back from the customer was scratched The scratches are evident in the photos we included in our previous reply Our returns policy clearly states that watches that have been worn, used or otherwise handled can not be returned for refund Unfortunately we are not able to refund the customer

The facts I gave to you are clearly outlined - you would have needed to find out the facts of this cashback offer from the affiliate site from which you tried to get it from The cashback offer has nothing to do with Ashford.com - we do not issue the cashback - it's the affiliate site who issues the cashback They have their rules and regulations we must follow So when an order is returned...for whatever reason...the system tells the affiliate site that you returned the order...therefore; cancelling the cashback offer.If you would like, you can contact that affiliate site to ask them why they can't apply your cashback offer to your replacement order? Hello, Thank you for your feedback.I apologize that you are experiencing this issue with this watchUnfortunately, yes this is considered wear and tear, the part of the watch you are describing is painted on by the manufacturer and maintains contact with your skin on the top of your wrist the entire time you are wearing the watch, skin oils, lotions or other moisturizes will deteriorate paint over time.After almost four months of wearing this watch, that paint will start to fade awayIf you but a car and the paint starts fading, yes that is a problem because that paint should not come in contact with anything physical besides sun and water, a better analogy would be the tires on your car as it maintains CONSTANT contact with a surface while in use, like the bottom of your wrist to the back of your watch.Our best suggestion is to contact the manufacturer directly to see if this is something they can cover for you.If you have any further questions or concerns for Ashford, please feel free to contact us at any time!
