Blue Archer

Review: [redacted], Inc interviewed and hired Blue Archer to code and design an e-commerce, responsive designed website that would also integrate with a 3rd party product database. 3 face to face meetings were held and all specs were discussed in detail and agreed upon. It was known in advance that PayPal wasn't a good fit for a payment processing system and Blue Archer suggested we use Authorize.Net as it would be a fit for our needs. [redacted], Inc. gave Blue Archer a $4,920 deposit to (as per written agreement) "deliver an e-commerce strategy and detailed functional specifications"

Before 1 line of code was ever written, Blue Archer came back and informed [redacted], Inc that the project cost was going to increase $2,500 to integrate Authorize.Net which is the online payment system they selected due to their familiarity with it. It was also told to [redacted] at that time that other "unforeseen" complications could arise with the project and our cost could increase at any time.

At this point, [redacted] lost faith that Blue Archer could deliver the project for the agreed upon cost and terminated the agreement. Since no coding had been done, it was requested that 1/2 of the deposit was returned. Blue Archer has refused to do so stating that 50 hours were spent on the project. [redacted], Inc then requested all developed technical materials/blue prints to be delivered for our records. The formal request for all project materials was emailed on April 12, 2016 and [redacted], Inc has not received a reply to date.Desired Settlement: [redacted], Inc understands that time was spent developing some of the project specs. It is for that reason alone that we will respectfully request a partial refund of $2,460 and no longer desire any material specification in writing.
