Blue Barn Ranch has been an amazing find for us! We have used their boarding and training services for our German ShepherdWe can always count on Kathi and her staff to be dependable and treat our dog with the same love and respect that we doThank you for being her home away from home!

We found Blue Barn Ranch on social media and are we ever thankful we did We started with a group class and got our highly energetic month old pound chocolate lab (aka the Bionic Puppy) started Then a family accident required day care for our dog so we could keep our family business open and Blue Barn Ranch --- the whole family: John, Kathi, and Lisa, have been terrific Our dog is well cared for, better behaved, and socialized with other dogs at a very reasonable cost A series of early morning appointments including out of town day trips led us to board our lab for days and that also was an excellent and reasonably priced experience for all We cannot recommend them more highly for understanding dogs and working with us to meet our pet's needs We look forward to more intensive training in the near future

We first heard about the BBR when we needed to board our y/o rescue dog RedWe asked around and heard nothing but great thingsWe met with MsCathy and we instantly knew that this would be a great place to boardWhen we picked Red up, MsCathy told us how well he did but confirmed what we already knew, that Red would benefit from trainingRed is a big dog and would get aggressive if made to do something that he didn't want to doAfter hour beginners training classes, it's like we have a new dog! Everyone from friends, neighbors and even our Vet have commented on how much more approachable Red isRecently Red was diagnosed with epilepsy and has to take meds twice a dayI was concerned about an upcoming board at the BBR and his new meds scheduleI called MsCathy and she quickly put me at ease by assuring me that she would personally attend to his needsI know this review is long but I hope it shows how special these people are and how on several occasions, they have loved our dog as much as we do! I highly recommend the BBR for boarding and training your dogsYou won't find better! :)

We're two sessions into obedience training, and my yr old chihuahua - Boston Terrier mix - a rescue with issues - is making great progress and so am I , thanks to dog whisperer Kathi, a certified dog trainer and proprietor of the excellent Blue Barn Ranch, a spacious, beautiful, well-kept and fully equipped facilityWe've had the privilege of boarding there and it is an absolute delight to know how wonderfully Kathi provided such excellent care for Joey and skillfully managed his pounds of muscle and unmitigated energyIs she a dog whisperer? I would say soJoey got his own outdoor kennel during the day plus a daily play session in a fenced and fully equipped play areaThe socialization was so noticeable that we immediately signed up for the full 5-session obedience packageThe one-hour sessions lay the groundwork for the daily practice that must be completed in order to reach the goal of happy home lifeWe're well on our way! Guilt free boarding! I love taking my shepherd mix to Kathi who runs Blue Barn RanchWe always ask Pinto, our dog, if she wants to go to Aunt Kathi'sNo guilt with having a friend take her out and I know she is going to get daily exerciseKathi is so patient with our dog who gets very excited when arriving; she offers obedience tips but never makes you feel bad about having a bit of a hyper dog ;) She always posts pictures of our dog with an update of how she is doing, no matter if she is there for a weekend or a week! We were very concerned about having to board our 80# baby Yellow Lab "Elsa" I had looked around online for a place to leave her for a few days On the spur of the moment, we decided to drive up to BBR unannounced Kathy greeted us and was so kind and friendly She immediately stopped working and took us on a tour We were extremely impressed with how clean and organized they were When you walk in to an indoor kennel and it has no "potty" odor, you know they take care of the animals under their care When we came back to pick up Elsa, she seemed happy, and had better manners than when we left her Kathy is amazing when it comes to dog training We are planning another trip and have no anxiety whatsoever leaving our baby at BBR

We have been taking our dog to Blue Barn for over a year now. We have been incredibly happy and comforted by the fact that our sweet boy is treated like one of their own there.
We have gone to Blue Barn for grooming, training, and boarding. We wouldn't go anywhere else. The price can't be beat for the quality of care and the excellent facility conditions.

We were very lucky to find Blue Barn Ranch. When we started training with Kathi we were dealing with a dog aggressive dog. I had lost all confidence in my ability to handle my dog. Kathi worked with us both. My dog and I can now work with dogs of all kinds in very close proximity . Nazca is now in advanced obedience. Nazca is a 85 pound intact Xolo and he now lives happily with our 10 pound bossy Chihuahua Arrow. We look forward to working with Kathi on advancing our training. We highly recommend Kathi at Blue Barn Ranch.

Kathi fed our animals for 2 months the best alfalfa and grass mix, she and her friends, staff, and her Vet gave them the best care that we couldn't provide while we were moving across the state for 2 months. She sent us pictures and kept us updated on how they were doing. When we received our animals back after being away for so long, our horse and Llamas looked so nice and healthy. They just look great!

Blue Barn Ranch has been a God-send to our family! Prior to finding BBR, we used other boarders and always had anxiety leaving our dog. Since discovering BBR, we have been able to leave our dog knowing she was well cared for, understood, and LOVED! Being able to see pictures on the Facebook page was an added bonus. Great rates, knowledgable staff, great communication...I could go on and on!

While living in the high desert, Blue Barn Ranch was a second home for my dog. I travel very frequently for business purposes and needed a trustworthy boarder that I could rely on with my hectic schedule. I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful place for my dog. The pets are cared for with personalized attention and love. Kathi learns your pet's quirks and needs and ensures that their stay at the ranch is both comfortable and stimulating. My dog loved to go and hated to leave, every time. Kathi also offers training services which worked wonders for my dog. She is extremely skilled and patient and you will be thrilled with the results, I'm sure. Your pets will be safe and happy and will probably pick up some good habits, via training or otherwise.
