We are not appraisers and have no influence, nor should we have, on the outcome of an appraisal. We do not steer the borrower based on any preliminary research for values of any properties. This is illegal and unethical in nature. We did not get paid to do an appraisal. The
appraisal was ordered through a 3rd party "Appraisal Management Company". They are the ones that got paid for the services of the appraisal. We understand that the appraisal payment was indeed authorized and paid for by the borrower verbally and we did fail to get the written authorization from the borrower. Because of such action, I will pay for the appraisal of which the borrower is unhappy with the outcome. This complaint is from the right borrower and we are Blue Brick Financial LLC, but the address is incorrect.We will request the charges be reversed from the AMC and if not possible we will write a check directly to the borrower
