Review: Yesterday at 10:15 pm on April 4th, I have got in the cab in Columbus Ohio, next to [redacted] 782 North high street taking it down to Hilliard area. [redacted] Taxi dispatched by Blue Cab. Taxi driver didn't turn meter on right away until we got to the freeway. Upon arriaval at my place he pointed at the meter and said $43.88. I have taken many taxis on this same exact route including blue cab and my bill was never more than $27 dollars. I have mentioned it to the driver, where he responded "that I am wrong and his right"! This morning April 5th I have called the office of blue cab where they were really polite and provided me with the number to call. I have also got a quote to double check for the same route before I told them what happened last night and they quoted me $25.00. I have called the number that they provided to call to make a complaint ###-###-#### they didn't listen to me and said that driver is right and I am wrong! This when I decided refer to Revdex.com help. I was a good customer to blue cab and want to stay a customer, but I think that it is important for them to know that they have thiefs and scammer drivers working and need to illuminate them! They ripped me off, didn't want to hear my side and make me feel very poor about their company!Desired Settlement: Refund of $43.88

Don't expect your customers to know number on side of cab,not everyone looks, get my phone back, it's no use to anyone when I have it turned off

Review: I will tell the whole story, but I will start by saying : MY CAB DRIVER HIT ME WITH HIS CAB! This is not OK! When I contacted Blue Cab, the cab driver came without even asking me for a destination address. The driver never offered to put my bag in the trunk, so I had to do it myself. The driver talked during the trip, and at the end of the trip he began to ask personal questions, such as who was at my destination, if I was alone, or would I be when I got there. This made me nervous and uncomfortable. I quickly paid, and got out asking the driver to open the trunk so that I could retrieve my bag. As I reached into the trunk to get the bag, the driver put the car in reverse and backed into me! The impact made a loud noise, as did I , but the driver did not stop. After 7 feet, the car finally stopped, and I jumped from the trunk (where I had leaned to keep me knees from being broken) and came around to the side of the cab. The driver said, "I know , I felt it." I did not know if my knees worked (the cab hit my knees hard) , but I knew that I needed to get away from this man. I went toward the door and the cab drove away very fast. When I was inside, I contacted the police for advice. I was told to contact Blue Cab and get the full name of the driver and his identification number. I contacted Blue Cab 5 times and each time they would not give me the full name or identification number of the driver. They hung up on me three times. Ten minutes later, I heard 3 men loudly banging on the door. They sounded very angry and spoke in Arabic. They would not go away. I recognized one of the men as my cab driver. They turned my door [redacted] several times and tried to force the door open. They yelled for me to open the door and began calling my phone number repeatedly to see if I was inside, leaving no messages. At this point, I dialed 911. The police arrived, but by that time, the men had left. I filed a a police report and am planning to follow up with this.Desired Settlement: I feel that people need to be aware that Blue Cab is not a safe taxi service. The people who work for and run this business are dangerous. They should not be allowed to taxi anybody anywhere. The cab driver who hit me should know that he cannot get away with such behavior, and I want to see that he is not allowed to drive another taxi ever again.

I took a Blue Cab home this weekend. The driver tried to charge me over $200 for a $20 cab. I noticed he was trying to over charge my credit card. I explained this to him and he refused to charge me the correct amount. He became both verbally and physically aggressive with me after refusing to give hime my information because he would not charge me the correct amount owed. I called the police and while waiting for them to arrive the cab driver tried to aggressively enter my apartment. I tried to call Blue Cab to file a complaint and was hung up on multiple times. The police officer who showed up also tried to file a complaint, told them he was a police officer, and was still hung up on. I not only had to pay the total amount of my cab fare, but the driver continued to run the meter the entire time waiting for the police, so basically I paid him to try and break in to my apartment. I will never use BlueCab again and would never recommend their services to anyone.

Not only did it take an hour and a half and three phone calls to get a cab but the driver was down right rude from the moment we walked outside. He claimed his credit card machine was down and that we had to prepay,in cash, for our ride. He then takes a route home that we questioned and he continues with his rude remarks. Once we are dropped off at our home he hits the end fare button and tries to charge us $4 more than is listed on the meter. When we question him again he attempts to belittle us by saying that we "obviously need the money more than he does so we can just call it even and get out of the car." I get out of the car and try to cross the street into my driveway and he starts driving, grazing my foot with his front right tire. I hit the window to get his attention. He clearly had no clue that he had hit me because he threatens to call the police on me for hitting his car. I have never had service like this or been so frightened of a driver and I am a person who very regularly uses a cab service.

Review: Thursday, April 2, 2015 at approximately 7:40 a.m., American Blue Cab #[redacted], license plate [redacted] made an illegal turn onto Cassady Ave. and Airport Dr. as he exited the Speedway gas station turning left onto Cassady Ave. and was very brazen in his attempts to strike my vehicle, a 2009 Infiniti convertible.

The turn is a forbidden turn according to the sign at the Speedway gas station, yet your driver decided since he “could not get out” he would muscle his way into oncoming traffic, specifically my vehicle. I had to lay on my brakes and horn as well as jump into another lane to avoid the clear collision that was going to occur between your cab and my vehicle. I was on my way to work at the Columbus Regional Airport Authority and was quite shaken up and disturbed at how your driver totally disregarded the rules of the signage and traffic. I took down his information as well as questioned why he would do that. His defense was “I couldn’t get out and you were speeding up”. I guess he forgot that my light was green so of course I’m driving to make my turn off Cassady on to Airport Dr. and since he was exiting from a lot, the rules of traffic would be that he does have to wait, not use his cab to attempt to move another car out the way, especially when he is exiting where it is clearly marked “NOT AN EXIT” and has a sign with a big red X indicating “NO LEFT TURNS” from the Speedway gas station onto Cassady Ave.

As a member of the community, as an employee of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, I am astonished at not only the disregard for traffic laws and signage, the rude and dismissive attitude I received when reporting the incident. The dispatcher I made contact with ([redacted] was very curt and dismissive. I had to call back several times and demand the manager’s number. I have since been given the manager’s name [redacted]) and a phone number (614) [redacted] to which I have also left a voicemail and requested a return phone call.

I am formally documenting my complaint, would like a follow up phone call and this driver should not be permitted to drive for your company or any other since he shows no understanding of clearly marked signs and is surely a liability for your company. I should have just let him hit my vehicle because he was in complete violation and would no doubt have been cited as well as repairing the damages he caused to my vehicle. Had another car been approaching in the lane I had to jump in to avoid the collision he caused, he would have been liable for all damages because he was clearly exiting not only in an illegal manner but in a clearly marked spot.

I would like the owner to contact me regarding this issue. I can be reached at Columbus Regional Airport, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at (614) [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a follow up in writing and this driver should not be able to drive because he is a liability, does not understand or follow posted traffic signs and attempted to intentionally crash into my vehicle. I was shaken up and did my best to avoid the chain recation of wrecks that was bound to occur from him turning into my vehicle.

Last night I took a cab home and it was blue, noticed I left my phone in cab, tried to chase him but he didn't hear me, I called cab co several times only to get hung up on and the guy on phone told me to just go sleep it off, not very sympathetic nor apologetic! I called again for them to ask what color cab was where they drop me off at ect....and still no help, I then call cell carrier to turn it off so right now it's no value to anyone! I called next day they said call after 6 so the night crew would be there, called at 745pm only for him to say there's no cab driver by name of ** hung up on me again like they did last night, then I call back again guy says that he has no record of me calling about a phone, then says to call after 11pm tonight cuz rest of night crew will be there, no one was nice to me, I mean how would they feel if their phone was gone??I told him I will be calling manager in morning to let them know how I was treated and finally he says he's sorry for my loss! [redacted]! I just want someone to be honest and please give me phone!
