I bought a mobile home from Blue Chip Homes in Yorkton SK that was delivered on July 16, 2014. At the time I was dealing with [redacted] who completed a walk through with me in August and we noted the floor boards being a different colour in the master bedroom, which he documented on his camera, and the door not closing properly(though he said it's normal to have to pull a door for it to lock). In November when it was getting cold outside I emailed him to complain that my door was not locking at all because of the temperature and not being able to pull/push the door hard enough to lock it. I was responded with an email stating that [redacted] no longer worked there and there was nothing on file about the problems with my trailer but they would look into it and get it solved. I went a whole winter not being able to lock my door [redacted]. Since November I have been dealing with [redacted] who will tell me he will get things done but still nothing has happened. I have only been in contact with [redacted] by phone or text messages, the 3 times I have made the 4 hour round trip to Yorkton he hasn't been at the office. He has lost the pictures that I have personally delivered to the business, then misplaced text messages and asks for the same pictures. He said my floor isn't getting replaced and if I want it fixed I have to talk to the company in Estevan yet no one has come to see the the boards are a different colour and he still hasn't gotten my door fixed which he said he would contact a contractor in my town to fix the door on May 5th and I haven't heard from him since.Product_Or_Service: Modular HomeDesired Settlement[redacted]. [redacted]Business Response A representative of Blue Chip Homes has recently visited this property and performed all warranty work as per the purchase agreement. Further, we have contacted the third party flooring supplier to influence them in performing warranty work on the flooring and expect a satisfactory outcome in the near future.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not accept their response due to the fact that there still hasn't been any contact from the third party to fix my bedroom floor. I will only be satisfied once the flooring is changed, as I have already been waiting 2 weeks for them to come and change the flooring after the guy from Blue Chip homes had come to my house to see that the flooring was the wrong colour. Final Business Response To date we have taken steps to assist this customer in several ways such as a visit by our own repair person, asking the warranty department of the flooring company to make repairs and many others.[redacted]
