Blue Core Power Reviews (%countItem)

I contacted BlueCore about doing some electrical work at my house. I wanted to have some outlets and lighting replaced. They asked to schedule some time to come to my house to view the project and made clear the work would be completed at a later date. During the appointment, he looked around, made some notes and told me the project could be completed in an hour and I could call to make an appointment. I was shocked to receive a bill for $311 a week later. I called thinking they had made a mistake but she said there was no mistake. The electrician claimed he had done the work already. I called and told the office manager that no work had been done at my house by them ever and she said I needed to pay them or they would file a lien against my house. This is extortion plain and simple.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not received any services from this company. Clint T came to my home to give me a quote but did not complete any work during his one and only visit. He made it clear ahead of time that he would not be completing any work and that we would need to schedule another appointment to complete the work. Attached is my entire text conversation with Clint in which he confirms ahead of time he would not be completing any work. Both my wife and I were present during the visit and are positive that he could not have done anything without our knowledge. The work that he claims he did has not been completed and I can provide pictures if needed. Furthermore, I spoke to someone in the Consumer Protection Division of the State Attorney General's Office and they informed me that all contractors have a duty to provide a quote prior to completing any work otherwise the homeowner is not responsible for any billing. We have not had any work completed by Bluecore at our home but but if what Clint claims had taken place, he would have needed to provide a quote ahead of time. He of course did not provide us with a quote prior to his first and only visit to my home.I have tried several times to resolve this issue with Matt B - the owner of Bluecore. I also invited him to my home so he could see that the work Clint claimed he did has not been completed. Thus far, he has refused to talk to me. If he were willing to speak to me or come to my home, this misunderstanding could be cleared up quickly. Part of being a business owner is making a good faith effort to resolve a complaint - Matt refused to do that and his business's Revdex.com score needs to reflect his lack of good faith.I received notice today that I have been wrongfully sent to collections. I am giving Matt two weeks to correct this mistake before I take legal action to pursue damages.

Sincerely

We are again providing all of the communication between Mr. and our office manager, as well as the Daily Report completed by our technician on the date of service, the summary provided by our technician of the interaction between he and Mr., as well as a copy of the the Demand for Payment. At this time, please close this case as "unresolved", it is apparent Mr. will not be satisfied until the services we provided are free of charge and that is not an option in this matter. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:

This again is not a response to the issues I raised in my last submittal. I never accepted a bid from Bluecore and no one who works for Bluecore has ever completed work at my house. This is confirmed in a text message conversation I had with an employee of Bluecore where he confirms that I would need to schedule a second appointment to have work completed. Why Bluecore has refused to correct their mistake is beyond comprehension and should be a warning to anyone considering doing business with this company.

It is unbelievable that this company has turned a billing mistake on their part into this long ordeal. They have provided absolutely no documentation whatsoever that I have ever received services from them or entered into an agreement to pay them. Yet they have tried to take a lien out on my house, sent me to collections, and subjected me to a series of abusive phone calls with an truly vicious office manager named Mary Anne C. If anyone is reading this exchange and considering doing business with Bluecore, you must reconsider. It is not worth the risk of having a situation like this happen to your or your business.

Sincerely
