*** has now been moved to a facility in West Palm Beach Florida in an IOP program called Unity since being told by insurance he would be fine in an outpatient program and was declined coverageMoving him to this facility in Florida has cost undue stress on him and our family, additional time off of work, nearly $2,in out of pocket expenses for the move
This situation has been a toll on everyone involvedSo frustrating as he was comfortable at Black Bear and their program and to be quite honest, he has never lived away from home and is still in high schoolBeing in an outpatient program has kind of scared himIn days at Black Bear he had already shown progress to a fruitful recovery and a new outlook as the patients that were also their had the same goals
Please consider this request not to be revengeful, but a concerned mom who was seeking out treatment for her son so his addictions would not get to the point of no return
*** being declined at Black Bear and the extra costs, lost time at work and not to mention putting him in a facility that he is not comfortable with is more stress he doesn't need at this timeIf you would meet him and learn more about his "use"...you would see that Black Bear was the right fit for him
