Review: Purchased vehicle 2 years ago for 4400. Didn't have to smog last year. Had to smog this year and did not pass. Vehicle has had multiple break downs.

Purchased a vehicle 2 years ago. Didn't have to smog it last year. This year it did not pass smog. Repairs will cost 1300 to fix. Since buying the vehicle I have kept up maintenance on it but it still didn't pass smog. Vehicle has had multiple break downs since buying the vehicle. Desired Settlement: Fix Smog Repairs

We sold the vehicle to this customer 2 years ago, within that 2 years he has put over 25,000 miles on the vehicle, he filed a compaint with the Revdex.com claiming 2 years after he purchased the vehicle and putting 25,000+ miles on it that it didnt pass smog, customer never got intouch with us before he made complaint. We called the customer when we received the complaint from the Revdex.com to discuss it, we explained to him we always take care of customer problems but to make a complaint 2 years after buying a car that had 186,000 miles when purchased for a few thousand dollars is very unreasonable of him. After talking to the customer we went on the website you can verify a cars smog history www.bar.ca.gov and we put in the vehicles VIN # and found out that the vehicle did pass smog just a few days before writing the complaint and we have the smog certificate number to veritfy the vehicle did pass smog. We called customer back to tell him the information we found out and he then claimed he meant to say that the smog place told him in another 2 years when it is going to be time to smog the vehicle again it may not pass smog, basically 4 years afer purchase, which is clearly not what he wrote in his complaint, he stated the car failed smog 2 years after purchasing a car with 186,000 miles and putting 25,000+ miles and paying a few thousand dollars for it and buying the car AS-IS which would not be a legit reason to make a complaint in the first place and ended up really passing smog. We will take action on this toward the customer if he does not remove this complaint. We have proof that the vehicle passed smog that we can show.
