Review: on 4.18.11 dolphin pools installed a fabric cover for automatic pool cover located at [redacted] in 46167 (I have proof of receipt) the cover has a 6yr limited premium fabric warranty (In full for first 2 years and prorated years 3 through 6 - I have a copy of warranty coverage as well issued by manufacturer Cover POOLS, inc In late Aug the fabric and rope tore on the product installed by dolphin pools. I began at that time to leave messages on dolphin pools machine 317.852.8477 asking them to call me to set up a time for them to come inspect the cover and determine warranty coverage or not. after leaving 3 messages with no return calls I asked a local respected pool person, [redacted], to call dolphin pools since he knew of their business to see if he could get anywhere with attention to this problem. mr [redacted] was told by dolphin pools that no warranty existed. In September I began calling weekly leaving messages again on their machine weekly to get them out to inspect the problem with no return calls until mid October, phils wife called apologize for problems with their machine and assured her husband phil would call me to resolve. in the last 2 weeks there has been 2 broken promises from phil to come inspect the problem. The problem remains with a cover that is under warranty that I cant get cooperation from the approved and original installer on behalf of Cover POOLS, inc to inspect. I even called the Cover POOLS inc directly for assistance in getting their installer to provide what I would consider a minimal amount of customer service to at least come inspect the problem and make a determination, but their lack of effort to respond, communicate or keep their word for appointments has brought us to this point. The representative from Cover POOLS, inc apologized for this lack of customer service and volunteered to call them on my behalf to get dolphin pools to participate in the assessment of the damage as well. I verified with Cover pools, inc that this is a transferable warranty with no restrictions in that the previous owner of the home purchased the cover.Desired Settlement: I would like a commitment to be made and then honored that would involve a fair assessment of the repairs needed and the warranty to be honored by manufacturer or installer. I am not trying to get something for nothing. I simply would like the installer of the cover that I have warranty coverage on to come inspect and give me a written assessment of what is covered or not and if not, why not and how much to fix it. time is very important since there has been a 2 mo delay from dolphin pools and the pool needs covered for the winter or more damage could be done and then we'd have another problem
