James J[redacted] (owner) exceeded all our expectations in the complete resurfacing of our peeble tek pool. He carefully explained all the information on the back of the contract. .First time I have had a contractor take the time to review all the terms. I asked about completion expectations and he stated the time frame and met the date. The contractors arrived and professionally completed their work, cleaned up each day and work with minimum conversation. Finally, James said to call him if we had any questions, which we did on several occasions and he returned the calls within 15-30 min.

Blue Dot Pools was hired to remodel an almost 20 year old pool and surrounding decking. The pool had a rolled bond pebbletec beam, crumbling waterfall from spa to pool and cracked Kool deck. The owner of Blue Dot, James, was a joy to work with. He was in constant communication with us throughout the entire process. Whenever there was something to discuss in person, he made it a point to come see us as soon as possible.

We had flagstone installed to replace the bond beam and waterfall as well as added to the fire pit. Tile was installed to the waterline of the pool as well as the waterfall area. Lastly, faux flagstone acrylic was used to replace the kool deck and concrete patio areas. James envisioned the entire design and hired the appropriate subcontractors to put his work of art into place. The entire process was carried out professionally, on-time and within budget. The end result is a beautiful pool and surrounding area. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge Freddy the faux flagstone subcontractor. Freddy knew exactly what colors worked and which didn’t and gave us excellent advice. He and his crew are very experienced and the decking is more beautiful than we could have imagined. Thanks Freddy!

We used Blue Dot Pools for a pool remodel, two fountains, and a fire feature. Choosing
a surface and color that would complement the overall design proved to be very overwhelming, but [redacted] was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The pool is perfect. A year later and [redacted] is still available and willing to answer questions.

James and his crew did a full renovation for us over a year ago. He was very professional, honest and detailed in presenting all of our options. Even after the work was completed, he is still there to answer all of our questions. James is a true, honest individual that genuinely cares about the well being of his customers.

We were in the process of selling our house and had a lot of problems with our pool (leak under the deck, deteriorating plaster, old pool light, and an old sand filter on its last leg). We called around to a bunch of pool companies and decided to go with James and Blue Dot Pools. Throughout the entire process they were professional, on time, and explained the entire process. The work that was done looks fantastic, and it came at a very reasonable price. After a month, we were under contract with our house (thanks to a brand new pool), and a few minor things needed to be done to pass inspection. Even though Blue Dot Pools did not do work on what came up in the inspection they sent Patrick out to fix it at no charge so our sale could go through. I would recommend Blue Dot Pools to anyone who needs anything done with their pool.

Blue Dot Pools recently completed a remodel/renovation of my 30+ year old pool. James, the owner, was my point of contact and he was there every step of the way to oversee the project. He was always available to answer questions and was very knowledgeable. Every part of the project went well, and now my pool is updated and gorgeous.
