Not a very good place to purchase a car. Hopefully they get better. Very unorganized, and procrastinates on promises that were made before the purchase of the car was made.

Don't trust their mechanic, because he missed several things that were actually wrong with my car. I spent over $800 in repairs just days after I bought it.

His wife needed my Licence to do my paper work, never to return it to me. Afterwards, he told me she would mail it, but it never came. He later said to me its not my fault that you forgot you license. Being a CDL driver is different than being a simple class C driver.

I thought that I would be treated a little more fairly, since these guys were Muslims like me. But after they get your money, your no longer a valuable customer.

He (owner) will not pick up phone unless you're trying to give him money. Other than that, he will not pick up or return your call in a promptly manner.

And do not buy from this guy during Tax time. This is where he jack up the prices and makes a killing off of poor people, who only have enough money to get it right once.

Blue Flame Auto Sales Inc. was responsible for the tags which were never received and the company refuses to pay for replacement tags.I am a retired service member, who's son purchased his first used car, [redacted] for a total of $6555.82 (Vehicle sales price: $5993; Sales Tax: $188.82; Blue Flame Auto Sales Inc For DOC fee: $299; License fees: $73.00) from Blue Flame Auto Sales Inc. on 3/18/2015 before heading to his first duty station in VA after completing his Army Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Around the middle of April 2015 he asked if his tags had come to the house because his temporary tags had expired. He also told me that he tried calling the office of Blue Flame Auto Sales Inc. and the female that answered the phone insisted that she had mailed the tags even before she allowed him to identify himself or the vehicle he was referring to. He was informed that it must have been lost in the mail and to check the post office. My son then asked the female on the phone to confirm the address that she sent it to, that's when he was asked for his name and vehicle's make and model. After a short pause she stated that she had mailed the tags. Frustrated and feeling helpless due to being so far away to handle the problem in person since he's currently stationed in VA, my son asked if I could call. When I called on 5/8 at approximately 3:45 p.m., I attempted to introduce myself and explain why I was calling, the female on the other end of the phone cut me off and said she mail the tags. I explained that no tags had arrived to our address as stated. Her comment was, "That's not my fault!" Astound by her remark, I informed her that her response was rude and unprofessional because that does help the client get his tags. She kept insisting loudly that it was not her fault because she doesn't control the mail. She also stated that my son could just go down to the DMV and pay for replacement tags for about $10. I told her, that I was under the impression that it was their responsibility. She replied "I'll give you back your $10". I asked to speak to her manager, which she paused for a moment then stated she was the Manager. I explained to her that she had not provided us with any clear information besides it's not her fault. I asked her to provide us with the date that she received the tags from the DMV and/or the date when she had mailed the tags out to my son because that should be information they tracked. She stated that she would have to look that up and my son needs to take care of the tags himself. I told her I would take care of it for him with a special power of attorney which allows me since he's not currently in the state. She abruptly stated she would call me back without even taking down my number. I provided her with my name, number and asked her what was her name and she provided what seems to be her first name only very quickly before ending the call. She never called backed. I called back on 5/11, after receiving the power of attorney and invoice of purchase for the car via fax from my son. My son informed me that his sales agent was name [redacted]. When I called backed I spoke to Mr. [redacted] who was very professional and seemed to want to help. He formed me that the person that handles the tags was out the office and should return shortly. I made him aware of the situation, after awhile he said the person had returned and if he could place me on hold. When he came back to the phone he stated that he was informed that the tags were lost in the mailed. He stated that if we could purchase the replacement tags we could be refunded by the company. I asked about the $372 that they charged in fees, as to what they were used for, if we were still putting out money and asked was the taxes even paid? He assured me that the taxes where paid. I went to the DMV on 5/15 where I was told I would have to pay $83.50 for property tax and $20 for replacement tags ($15 for tags and $5 for a notary). I paid the taxes and fees and secured the tags. On 5/18 spoke to the same female, who states she will have to the owner.Desired SettlementWe would like at a minimum the refund for the replacement tags, which was the original solution. Plus any taxes that was withheld and not original paid.Business Response Hello Miss [redacted],My name is [redacted]. I spoke with you over the phone regarding this situation with your son's license plate and taxes. I apologize if I conveyed any information incorrectly regarding the taxes. The taxes that were paid by your son were the North Carolina sale tax of 3%. The taxes that are now due are not related to the vehicle sale, purchase or creation of vehicle tags. Those taxes are related to property tax paid by the individual after the state determines the cost. If we had NOT registered the vehicle, you would not have received any notices about property taxes owed. This property tax is always a separate fee incurred by the customer whether you are at a small mom and pop dealership, or a corporate location. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by [redacted] and wish I could have helped you more, mam. Unfortunately, there is nothing more I can do to help at this juncture.Have a great day, mam. Best,[redacted]Consumer Response Mr [redacted],Thank you for your quick response. The property taxes situation is understood. There was no mention in your response concerning the refund for the replacement tags which was originally suggested by the young lady on the phone and yourself. I offered to supply a copy of the receipt but was told the owner needs to approve it. Who is the owner and is he/she aware of the situation? At a minimum the $20 should be refunded.[redacted]

Multiple attempts to have preexisting issue repair. Repair but not fully. Puchased a vehicle from Blue Flame auto sales on 02/04/15. Upon test drive with sales rep/owners son "[redacted]" discovered that the car presented a few preexisting issue. Squeaking sturts, noisy break , scrubbing rotors, and non operable radio unit. Was advised by [redacted] at that time that the repairs will be completed by his facility. Could not be completed at the time as they were short staff on mechanical side and due to impending construction of building will be a few days possible. I called [redacted] on 02/05/15, the next day to advise that in addtion to the other issues noted that now the check engine light is on,after only been driven 20 miles. [redacted] again assured me it will be repaired, althought he did not give me a projected time frame. 02/07/15 after numberous calls and text messages to [redacted] and the shop at [redacted] with no response about repairs went by shop with my father. [redacted] assured me repairs will be completed and my expense will be parts only at dealer cost. I at that point adviesd of all things wrong and was told "no worries , return to pick up vehicle on **nday". I was given a loaner car and left the lot. 02/09/2015 called to check status of reair since I anticipated picking up vehicle this day, was told by [redacted] that car is not yet completed but to come by on Tuesday 02/10/15. 2/10/15 went to blue flames auto sales on to retrieve car. Was advised at that point that my portion of the repair bill was $350.00 , when I asked for specific and an invoice itemizing what was done for my records, [redacted] and [redacted] advised me "we dont have anything like that", I asked again and [redacted] indicated "i can give you an invoice when I get a computer" . I found this odd as he was able to quote me a price of repairs but no bill to substantiate it. I made agreement with [redacted] at that point that I will give him $180 of the $350, which I did leaving me with a balance of $170.00. I was advised any further issues to return the car asap. 02/11/15While on the way to work, ceck engine light came back on and the struts began to squeak once again. I aimmediately called [redacted] where multiple calls and messages were ignored. Finally after 3 hours and calling from an unknown number he answers the phone. I explain that the same issues that were suppose to had been repaired on 2/10 are now present again. I was not given a time or day to return the car for review. no rsponse2/12/15 no response2/13/15 sent message to [redacted] asking for a repair date was asked to bring car in on **nday 2/16 . Called shop on 2/14 to confirm this date of 2/16 and was advised by[redacted] "**" bring car in on Tueaday 2/17/15, however the shop may not be able to tend to repair as they are still doing construction. Agreed for me to bring the car in on 2/19, Thursday.2/18/15called to confirm time for tomorrow drop off, was advised that[redacted] was not at shop after being told he was, once again the run around. I have had a tremendously hard time with getting these repairs corrected. They car was sold as-is, however they was a verbal agreement between blie flames and I that the repairs will be completed. I even offered to purchase another vehicle that did not present such issues and was adivesd that the vehicle I used as a loan [redacted], was [redacted]. as of today 2/18/15 this car is till on the website for sale and on the lot. I have not been given any other options but to keep this car. There has been no compromise just a bunch or avoidance and no proper repair to the vehicle. Desired SettlementI will accept one of the 2 options as settlement 1- Present verifiable itemized invoices to show what was repaired prior to me taking to my mechanic so he can confirm the items were addressed properly. Also Balance for repairs , that was unsatifactory completed on 2/10/15 of $170.00 is forgiven so that I may apply it take my vehicle to my mechanic repair the car properly and without delay.Present verifiable invoices to show what was repaired prior to me taking to my mechanic so he can confirm the items were addressed properly. If repair exceeds $170.00 apply difference to balance owed on vehicle. 2- Present verifiable itemized invoices to show what was repaired prior to me taking to my mechanic so he can confirm the items were addressed properly. Refund $180.00 given to [redacted] and and no longer collect balance of $170 owed for uncompleted repairs, so that I may apply the full $350.00 to repairing vehicle with my mechanic.
