Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Chris knew the drive he was facing prior to taking the job, my wife makes the round trip daily and it takes an hour or lessHe made several trips to do the job because his crew forgot materials to the work when he promised to have it all done within daysAlso he had to come supervise his crew cause they wouldn't stay on taskChris knew what he was facing with us building and working with the contractors prior to taking the job and was perfectly fine with the agreementInstall the heater at first then run and update duct work when the addition was completeAs far as the discount Chris offered it due to him not completely the job within daysOur duct work still is not updated nor finished, the gas company is requiring the one inch pipe to be ran through the foundation then it may be the three quarter inchIf he isn't willing to complete the job due to the drive then is he not willing to work on our system if a problem arises, as well as our free inspections? Can we have the work done and send him the bill?
Regards,

From: btownblueflame Sent: Thursday, November 24, 3:AM To: info Subject: Case ID # *** To whom it may concern, I have been dealing with this customer for two monthsAlso please keep in mind that during this two monthI have made
at least trips or more, that is documentedWith to vans and up to two to three employees an hour and minutes from our shop how to his house trying to get this job finished and wrapped up but was held up by the framers not even having the addition built yetAt which time he had the furnace and his heat pump already installed and the gas line ranAnd had not mentioned to me one time about meeting anybody to get their furnace or their gas turned on The understanding was that I would install a furnace an outdoor unit and modify some duct work to accommodate an addition that they had added onto their house We have successfully installed a new furnace and heatpump with the correct ductwork this was done days after the initial startup of the job which was 9/19/ The finishing of this job was held up due to his framers not having the Building completed yet for the duck work to even be in Once the framer had finished enough to where we can get in and get the Edition finished we did so and that was daring 11/7/ Shortly after finishing the job completely and finally getting my last pay after having to cut him a discount for the job taking so longI get a phone call, it is the gas companyAsking me if I could be on job site right then so that he could turn the gas onI told him this was the first I had heard of it and was not able to make the hour and minute drive due to me being in Bloomington currently on a job siteSo we set a date for Thursday at o'clock. once I got home around o'clock I get a text message from the homeowner *** and I quote." What are you going to do about this gas lineI am not signing a waiveryou need to run a different size pipe." I asked him what he was talking about and he informed me that due to the gas company's policy I must run inch gas line to the furnaceThe gas furnace that is installed in his house is a BTU furnace it requires a three-quarter inch line to be ran to itFor this type of gas furnace the calculation is three-quarter inch line pipe pipe up to feetHis gas meter is set in front of his house, his furnace sits in the middle of a house, this is a distance of about feetI came off of the gas meter with a inch pipe which is codeI reduced down to a three-quarter inch line and ran it into the house into the furnaceThis is the only appliance that is using gas in his house at this timeThe homeowner during the install made mention that he wanted a gas water heater laterHe was asking me questions on how to install it cuz he was going to do it himselfWhat this whole situation about the gas line comes down to is if he don't have one inch in his closet by the furnace he won't be able to reduce down and install his own water heaterI have installed the gas line according to codeI just did not install the gas line in accordance with his wishes of later down the road being able to hook it up himself and not call a certified specialist to do itAs far as the mention of a bigger grill or return if you look in the bed that was given to him in the estimate there's never anything stated about a return being fixed changed or alteredI have had numerous counters with this guy where he has tried to find anything he could to get out from paying or a way to get a discountI am way over cost on this job due to the trips that I have made out to try to finish this jobI have done everything to satisfy this customer and I am completely finished with the situationSent via the Samsung Galaxy Tab E, an AT&T 4G LTE tablet
