Dear *** *** *** GreetingsI am responding to complaint ID# ***. We do not believe that the bad gas in the customer’s car came from our tank, as the customer claims. The following are my reasons: On 9/28/2016, the purchase date, our only octane gasoline tank
had gallons of gas in it at the beginning of the day. In spite of selling gallons of octane to customers on that date, we did not have one complaint. In addition, we sold gallons of octane through pump (the pump the customer claims she got the gas from); that’s an average of over customers that purchased regular gas from pump 5, and also we have had no complaints. Furthermore, the next day we sold an average of the same amount of the same gas from the same tank, and we have still had no complaints. Moreover, the customer purchased gas on 9/28/2016, and her car broke down on 10/3/We cannot speculate what could have happened in these five days. After we have investigated this claim, and for the above reasons, we have come to the conclusion that the bad gas in the customer’s car did not come from our gas pump or gas tankTherefore, we do not feel any responsibility towards the customer’s claim.
