Review: This complaint is a service and repairs issue. I signed the agreement with Webbs Auto and American General Finance Co. on June 28, 2013 for a 2001 Oldsmobile Aura. I was given a 30 day warranty for the car. I drove the car for one day and it started to make some loud noises and the "Check engine" light came on. I called the next day to let them know what was going on with the car and was told that it was nothing to worry about because even new cars have the light stay on and it was probably nothing big. I continued to drive the car for a few days but as little as possible because of the noise that I was hearing. I called around the 3rd of July or so and told them that I wanted to take the car through inspection so that I could get my tags. I was told that I did not have to worry about taking the car through inspection because they would do that for me. I asked about the noise and if they could look at the car so they told me to bring it in the following Monday. I took the car there and was told on the spot that it was the Air condition compressor. They kept the car and gave me a loaner vehicle because the part that was needed had to be ordered and it would probably take a few days for it to come in and then another few days to put it on. The loaner car that I was given had a lot of the lights lit up on the dash board (check engine light, oil, low tire pressure, etc). I kept the car for about 7 or 8 days. I got a call saying that my car was fixed and I could come to pick it up. I had a doctor's appointment that day so I asked if I could come the next morning and was told that it was ok. I picked up the car the next day and drove it for just over a day when the check engine light came back on. I called and let them know and was told that it was nothing to worry about because even with new cars, the light would be on. He said that there was nothing wrong with the motor and for that reason, it was ok. I ended up taking the car back to them 2-3 more times for repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like to either be refunded and get out of the contract with the loan company or get another vehicle. As I said in my complaint; my warranty ended up running out but I did not have the vehicle in my possession for the 30 days. I called the finance company a couple of times and was told that I would still be liable for the amount financed on the car even if I took the car back. I have not had the GPS installed either because the car has stayed in the shop more that I have had it .
