Review: Our family chose to go to Blue Heron Naturopathic Care in order to obtain allergy testing that was not available through our Family Practitioner. Although we were not impressed with the care or service, we only went to get the results to the testing and were happy to have those results in order to deal with some recurring health problems. After three of our family members had gotten tested, we received a bill in the mail for $200+ for only one of the members and promptly paid it. After looking into the matter further, I realized that they had also been paid by the insurance company for the visit - therefore, collecting payment twice for the same service. I have called countless times over the past two years requesting a refund. I have been told many times I would be called back only to never hear from them. I have left numerous messages and they have never responded. I have to catch someone on the phone in order to get a response, and it is always the same - "we are working on it". I find it unethical and unprofessional for them to collect payment twice for services and not respond to their clients. Two years is entirely too long for this issue to not have been resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the medical bill I paid, as they also received payment from my insurance company. I do NOT want a credit for future services, as I have no desire to work with this office ever again in the future.

I made a phone call to respond to this - I never received payment from patient or her insurance company. The bill was outstanding, but we have written it off. The statement is a lie.

No one has attempted to call me. I have received no calls or messages regarding this matter. Attached is documentation proving that they have received payment from my insurance ([redacted]) as well as myself (Copy of cashed check). Also attached is my bill, as I have made notes every time I have contacted them since 2013 - a total of six times. There statement that my claims are untrue are clearly incorrect as I have all the documents to show that they have, in fact, collected twice for the same service on 6/7/2013.

I have contacted this company a minimum of six times in an effort to simply get them to look through their records and kept getting put off with the promise that someone would call me back and it would be resolved. I feel as though this matter is very straight forward, as shown by my documents, and that I have been more than patient in allowing them ample time to sort this out and refund my money.
