We rented a cabin from Blue heron company on September 14 through the 17th. Upon arriving in Tobermory (a 5 hour drive) we were told our cottage had water issue and we would have to move to another cottage. This was fine but we felt we should have been notified sooner, as it was stated the issue happened at 1 pm and it's now 5:30 pm when checking in. The next day they text us and notified us the cottage we rented won't be functional and they are trying to accommodate us. Not what you want to hear 5 plus hours away from home and no near by hotels with vacancy. After trying to reach management 7 times by phone, someone directed us to office on the pier. Management was rude and argued with that they gave us a 20% discount and made arrangements for us. There arrangement were a small cottage across the street that had a queen, 2 singles and a pull out bed. We had 6 adults in our group, one disabled and one just had surgery. Our issue was we were paying almost $300 a night and this cottage rents for $149, with 20% off of the $300 that is no where near $149. Manager *** yelled and screamed at us how she didn't have time for this, she has been scrubbing toilets all day and that's not her job, swore and said I paid the *** cottage be out by 11am. It was very unprofessional and the whole days events ruined our day of vacation. We we're suppose to go diving and on a boat cruise that day but spent a whole day trying to find out what was happening. We have made 5 attempts since home from the weekend to contact someone and to no avail.

Billing Adjustment We would like a bill adjustment for the 20% that we received for your inconvience and a refund for the difference for the amount we paid for that night for the difference as that cottage rents for $149 per night (less than half of what we paid). We would also like an apology for the way we were treated and spoke To by the manager as it was completely unacceptable.
and her party were relocated due to a pump/well issue at one of our cottages. They were assured on check in that we would find them another place to stay for the third night of their vacation. They had two nights on our properties in a different cottage and the third night was elsewhere. We refunded them 20% for the inconvenience. The phone call where *** says that *** screamed, yelled, swore and used the words such as "***" are totally untrue and we can prove this as there was a witness during the call and the call was being recorded.
Also untrue is the fact that we never tried to contact *** after her numerous social media attempts. We responded to all of her public complaints and we attempted to try and respond to her private *** message as well but it wouldn't go through (much like she had blocked us) and then we called the number that we had on file for one of the other members in their party to call us back or tell *** to call us back. We never received a phone call from anyone in their party.
At the present time we feel as though we have done all we can for this case included a discount for the inconvenience of moving cottages and providing a cottage to stay in for their last evening in Tobermory. Which we didn't have to do - we could have simply said at check in "sorry but there is a pump issue and we can not accommodate your group at all this weekend". We feel we went above and beyond for *** group in order to ensure they had accommodations for the nights they had booked.
Upon camping in the beautiful Tobermory area, I was shopping for a top for my shorts. I went into a really nice outfitters store with quality clothing. I found a *** Top to go with my shorts and tried it on. I recognized the brand to be of good quality and purchased it. This top was pretty expensive for a Tee shirt, but I felt comfortable knowing that it was a good brand. A couple of weeks later, while wearing my top, I noticed there were some tiny holes in the front of the garment, that were no where else on the top, indicating that it was defective. I contacted the Blue Heron Outfitters by email with attached pictures of the defective top. To which, I was promised to be looked after. I was even asked to give my home address and that they would likely replace it. I have sent four messages and emails to find out the status to no avail. I'm very upset of course. Please contact me to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Replacement I would like my Prana Top (Tee) in Taupe size small replaced as promised.
HI ***, Unfortunately we no longer have the top in stock - we usually only order one of size small in each item as size small is our least popular size. We were trying to locate the item from the brand rep when our manager fell ill for and was off work for a few weeks recovering. Sorry this has taken so long for you to resolve. If you contact me at *** ext. 401 and leave me a voicemail message with your credit card information we would be happy to refund your money in full. If you do not feel comfortable with a refund to your credit card please leave me your mailing address and we will mail you a cheque.

Thank you for resolving my issue. I am very happy to have my new top. I know that it isn't always perfect. Even though I didn't receive the exact top, it was close enough to my satisfaction.
