Leslie R BCEO of Blue Marlin has a variety of negative reports from customers who have sent deposits on yachts for sale and when the deal didn't happen, deposits were either partially or not at all refunded I had to file complaints with the State Licensing Board to get half my deposit back after a year of constant work with the agency
Leslie copies listings of yachts and represents himself as the owners broker to gain your trust and your deposit money percent or more of the purchase value When I arrived to see the boat (flew to Florida from California), the broker was not there, documentation on the boat and outboard motors was missing
It's amazing this guy is still in businessthe person I spoke with at the State Licensing board took pity and helped me file my complaint and reached out to Leslie which was what finally got him to refund my depositafter months of trying independently and with an attorney to get his attention
