Per my contract my house was to be finished Oct 31, There have been numerous problems to the point where I finally had to go to a lawyerKevin Woodworth the owner has refused to finish the jobI finally was able to move in in April even though the job was not complete and still isn'tHe has taken my money and left me with buckled floors, interior paint not completedProblems with the air conditioning unit, lights that flicker when turned onDeck stairs that are badA screened in porch that is a messAnd a non working furnace as of todayI had an engineers inspection done at the request of my lawyer and most of this is in his reportI have a leak in the roof or in the attic area that is seeping into the kitchen ceilingMistakes that he made, the floors in particular, he tried to charge me for the cost of correcting ittheyre still not fixedI would give him the information he needed To order what I had chosen, i.eCounter tops and two months later he tells me he just tried to order and it was going to take to weeks to get them This after he had the info two months priorHe charged me for things that he didn't doHe was supposed to have the inspection done for the septic system before building anything but he didn't do that until the House was built In fact he didn't do it until march of Per the contract that was his responsibility as well as the cost but he tried to charge me for itMr Woodworth kept making excuses which dragged on for several weeks until my son took the matter in his own hands and literally in less than ten minutes he had some one on the phone and got an inspector out hereIt was passed but we were told that we probably would not be able to flood insurance because the house wasn't built high enoughI have emails, etc from Kevin, the engineers inspection and copies of communication from my lawyer to backup my complaintsHe's a liar, he's taken my money with out completing the job per the contract and to me that makes him a thief as wellShoddy, shoddy workmanship, totally lacking any kind of work ethicsI would not hire him to build a dog houseI could not in good conscience recommend him to anyone for anythingThere is no "not likely" about it, I would never ever recommend him to anyone not even my worst enemy It's been a living hell and still is
