Blue Moon Hotel

Review: I made a hotel reservation through [redacted] and paid for the room ($709.84, posted to my credit card 7/**/15). My trip was scheduled for September *-**, 2015. I now have to cancel the reservation as my grandmother is having part of her lung removed in a very critical operation in Tampa Florida; thus I am unable to make the trip to NY. I have canceled a month over in advance; the policy stated on [redacted] states that I should receive 100% refund. I understand this is the policy of [redacted], not the direct hotel. However, when I contacted the hotel, they would not allow me to speak to the hotel manager nor would they give me the name of the hotel manager on duty. The hotel, Blue Moon, will not cancel my reservation and I need the money returned to my account so I can travel to Florida to be with my family in a time of need. I am very disappointed in the hotel, hotel staff, and the policy of the hotel. This is an emergency situation and they should understand that I would want to be with my grandmother and family.Desired Settlement: I would like the money returned to my account.
