We offered to work with the customer to resolve her complaintsWhile we were working with the customer, the customer sold her propertySince she is now not the owner of the property we are unable to resolve any issues the customer felt she had with our product and service

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The company was unresponsive in regard to what actions would be taken if power washing further damaged my siding; that was the reason powerwashing was cancelled. Although my home was sold, I have asked for a refund because the product was ineffective and pursuing a resolution was also met with no response after being told they would discuss and someone would get back to me

[That is not satisfactory to us In my letter I outlined the reason why
the $was not added to the bill It was because they said we had no
need for that and when they realized the mistake, they said that they
would perform the service complimentary We had no idea that it would
take them 1/months to get back out to our house to properly do their
job and that's why we are asking for extra compensation in addition to
them not charging us for the garage service The reason for us asking
for the payments for the time that the service was not done is because
we experienced no difference in the feeling of the house until they
finished up April 4th, so the $10,worth of work they did was not
effective The garage area is square feet, which is roughly a third
of the total square footage of the house It is the most compromised
part of the house as well because it is not heated and the garage door
does not have a sealant around the edge, so whatever the temperature is
outside the garage reflects it The draft and the cold air that it
generates in the house is why we were not happy with the $10,service
that they said was sufficient to insulate our house This is also the
reason why we want our gas and electric bill to be comped during this
time If USA insulation cannot understand the errors in their ways and
the fact that they are responsible for not properly assessing the house
initially, not completing the job right the first time, disseminating
the wrong information, mis-communication between workers and management
from start to end, a prolonged delay, and constant visits to our
residence that inconvenienced us then we will take matters to a higher
level. ]

The financing that was submitted on our around 12/22/was
only for the portion of work that was completed on 12/22/14. The garage ceiling work that was done on
3/28/and then completed on 4/4/was done for free. Therefore, there was no time that the ***
were paying on a
loan for work that was not completed as they were not charged
for the work that was finally finished on 4/4/15.
Additionally, the work that we provided to the *** as a make good for our error was valued at $2,200. This is $
more than their desired settlement amount.
How is it reasonable to say that we have not already provided enough?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Everything in the response is true. However, USA insulation failed to mention the improper/inadequate installation and subsequent freezing of our bathroom plumbing supply lines. We are unwilling to start tearing apart the bathroom by removing the vanity, which did not have to be moved for the installation, until the installation problems are fixed in other areas more proximal to the freezing plumbing. To date we have had intermittent freezing for over months. The "multiple" conversations were had after weeks of us calling without response from anyone able to address the problem. It was only after filing a complaint that USA Insulation started to respond in an adequate manner. As of now USA Insulation has come back out and added insulation. All of the insulation was blonot foam, which is what we paid for. If we wanted loose insulation we could have saved considerable amounts of money and had that put in instead. Since the repairs it has not been cold enough to verify that the problem has been addressed. We will not be able to verify that the problem is fixed until we have sustained temperatures below degrees F. Further USA Insulation stated they would come back and provide another thermal scan to see if there were any spots that needed more insulation. It has been weeks since that was suppose to happen without any update from USA Insulation. This is a typical delay and avoid tactic that we have been dealing with for months. It appears they hope that we will loose interest and stop following up. In the months we have been trying to get this addressed USA Insulation has and continues to fail to follow up on scheduled appointments, return phone calls and address the underlying problem. If they were interested in addressing the issue it could have been done months ago. We will not incur any cost or damage to our home until they have addressed the installation problems and there are no other options. Based on the weeks it takes to get an appointment or returned phone call, I can not see letting them remove the vanity in our bathroom to have it sit there for weeks, rendering our bathroom unusable while we wait for them to decide they have time to address the problem.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Their response is incorrect. They came out twice after the initial instalation. Once to fill in places they missed and after numerous phone calls from us, they came out to do a thermal imaging.ThThey have cost me time and money. They blocked air returns and damaged my pipes. It takes them way to long to respond to phone calls.I paid 7,000.00 for their service...I feel very taken advantage of. Their product and service are not worth the inflated price.

[redacted]

Business responded:The facts are, we did not have to insulate the garage ceiling of this house for free.  We could have returned to insulate it only for a charge of $2,200.  We did not.  Instead we did it for free as an attempt to show the customer good faith and our willingness to satisfy them.  We recognize that unfortunately our attempt was not enough however it remains all that we are willing to do.  Contractually all the work has been completed and we have been compensated $2,200 less than what the contract states we are owed.?

We have had several communications with both Mr. and Mrs. [redacted].  Prior to this complaint, we had arranged with Mrs. [redacted] an appointment for the next day (1/16) to re-address their issue.  We have explained that there is a vanity covering their heating vent in the area of...

question.  We have asked them to move the vanity to check for blockage.  Removal of this vanity is not a difficult task, as the area is in process of being remodeled and currently has a plywood counter top.  We offered to move it while we were there to show them this is not the issue, and the customer(s) would not allow us to.

I'll make a payment to the Revdex.com next week

We completed the installation of Mr. [redacted] insulation on Tuesday December 15th.  During the final walk through we noticed that a few walls had developed cracks in the drywall from the application. While we were still on the premises we contacted a contractor to call Mr. [redacted] and schedule an...

appt to come to his home and complete his repairs. The contractor told Mr. [redacted] that it would most likely be repaired after the holidays due to Christmas being 9 days away. Mr. [redacted] contacted our offices the next day to state that he was not satisfied with the date that our contractor would get out to repair his walls. I explained to Mr. [redacted] the process to repair drywall damage and that it would be a 4-5 day/trip job do to the drywall work. Mr. [redacted] stated that was unacceptable and I explained to him that if he could find a contractor that would be able to complete the work for the same amount of money that our contractor would charge, we would reimburse him for the expense. Mr. [redacted] declined that option so I contacted our Contractor and asked if he could move Mr. [redacted] to the front  of his customer list. Our contractor stated that he would do that and he scheduled Mr. [redacted] for 12/21 to begin work on his home. To date we have only received a partial payment for the agreed upon contract amount and on 12/21 we notified Mr. [redacted] that he still owed an additional $2,920 and once that is received we will move forward with the repairs as well as schedule a cleaning company to come out to clean the affected couch.

Our initial
inspection of Miss [redacted]’s house on 12/18/2012 found that she had no insulation
in her walls.  We showed her our findings
and presented our product and service to her.
She decided to hire our company to insulate the walls of her house.  We performed the work on...

12/27/2012.  After receiving a complaint our
representative returned to Miss [redacted]’s house to inspect our work with a
thermal imaging camera on 1/9/2013.  He
found that the walls of the house were insulated properly and our work was
complete.
Given the
fact that we inspected our work one year after it was done and found that it
was completed properly and per the specification of our contract, we are not willing
to provide a refund.

We spoke with the customer and explained that we were outside of the warranty window. The customer was displeased with that result and if he would like to set up a service call we would be willing to come out but we would have to charge a fee of $189.

We installed insulation in The [redacted] home on 4/7/17.  We were out for service calls 3 times since then.  We spoke with Mr. [redacted] a couple times in the last week to schedule a date to come out to fix additional concerns, and he would not schedule the appointment.  He stated...

that he would be out of town in the January, but did not know when and couldn’t schedule an appointment.

We worked with Mrs. [redacted] on a solution to her issue and we offered to power wash the siding but she declined our offer to complete that service. In the mean time the customer sold her home and has asked for a refund. We offered a solution and feel that since the home owner has sold the home we are...

still owed for our services even though she will not be living there.
