Customer’s Statement of the Problem:On September 22,we hired Blue Ocean to clean the windows of our home, which was going on the market that week of September I later noticed some drips that appeared to be "inside" the windowAs we kept the windows open in the warm months, I really
didn't notice the severity of the drips until early November, when we started to close our windows at nightThe spatters of soapy water (this is an exaggeration and inaccurate as the “spatters” are not “soapy” but simply droplets of water) became very pronounced and noticeable when the windows were closedI emailed our realtor to ask how to deal with the problem, and she said to get in touch with *** immediatelyI called *** at Blue Ocean Window Cleaning and mentioned the drippy, cloudy spots in my windows, and thought I made it clear that they were inside the paneHe said he'd be over that morning, and promptly showed up in an hour (I dropped everything and went over immediately) and pretended ( I didn’t “pretend” anything…I simply rubbed the spot with a rag to see if the spots would come off and they did not) to rub the spot clean with a ragHe frowned and stated that the mark appeared to be "inside" the panes and it was probably from an old, broken seal on my dual pane windows (this is what I told her exactly) and "it looks like some moisture got in there." (She has quotation marks here that are not appropriate. I didn’t say "it looks like some moisture got in there." I more likely said that there is moisture between the panes of glass because the seals have broken down over time) I told him I know the moisture was "inside" the panes, but the drips were NOT there before he cleaned our windowsHe refused to take any responsibility for the drips, saying they were there already. (this is correctThey were there but invisible because of the very dirty windowsOnce we cleaned them they were visible. I noticed the moisture as I cleaned and told her I noticed it but I see this kind of seal breakage and moisture in roughly 30% of the homes I cleanI even told her of a company that could fix the moisture problem that I refer all the time . I will not “take responsibility” for something already present before I came to the door to clean the windowsAs mentioned in the next section I take responsibility any time we screw upMy reputation and name are on the line. I’m currently spending $1,to fix some windows scratched on a recent job.)These are "inside" sashesIt's apparent that they got soapy water inside the seal.
