First off it is not illegal to purchase a handgun in VirginiaI am guessing that you meant that it is illegal for a person under the age of to buy a handgun from a private party, and that to is not illegalI would hope that a person who sells guns would be educated on the gun lawsI do appreciate my money backI can also say that sending my information anywhere is a violation of my privacy and a criminal offenceI contacted you (Earl C***) with the issue by email and you were very immature by ignoring the email and responding with "the part was free" and then insulting me by putting "enjoy the sport!" as if you were saying ha we got youIf I had not contacted the Revdex.com then nothing would have been done about this because you are fine with scamming me but when I contact the Revdex.com then you give me my money back because it is made public

The customer in question came back the next day after being denied and was screaming and cursing at my employees, we attempted to tell her that IF it is a mistake on her record the State Police would notify us and she could pick up her gun as soon as her background check cleared (this happens with common names, etc) She refused to listen and continued to scream and curse at my employees in front of the other customers in the store My Manager on Duty (Mark W***) took her into the office to attempt to tell her again the policy but she refused to stop cursing at him He stopped the conversation at that point and told her to call the owners on Monday, she never did We have had this happen before and most of the time within hours the situation is cleared up to the customer's satisfaction, IF the customer is not guilty of the charges that are on their record We will refund their money minus 20% restocking fee since they tried to purchase a firearm and if they knew they had a felony on their record they are breaking the law She noted that "all sales were final" but that is in the case of the customer being approved for the firearm sale We will refund the purchase minus 20% if she wants to come back and treat my employees with the respect they showed to her Otherwise I will mail her a refund minus the 20% Deborah C***OwnerBlue Ridge Arsenal, Inc[redacted]

Review: On Dec. 19, 2012, I ordered a [redacted] BEAR gas piston AR-15 over the phone, they charged my credit right away. When I went to pick the rifle up, I didn't at the time know how to ceck and see if it was indeed a gas piston AR. After speaking with [redacted], they asked for the serial number of the rifle. When I gave the serial number to them, they told me it was NOT a gas piston BEAR, but a gas impingement rifle! This is NOT what I ordered. I called Blue Ridge Arsenal mnay times, and spoke with [redacted] there, he was helpful, and told me they fired the salesman who sold me the rifle, then I was told to contact the GM [redacted], he then told me there was NOTHING they could or would do to resolve the issue. After spending $1576.00 on the MODEL I wanted this is ASBURD !Desired Settlement: To get the gas piston [redacted] BEAR I ordered from them!

This person bought the rifle in December and has shot 400 rounds through the rifle. I'm not going to take the rifle back 5 months after he has bought the rifle. He knew it was a gas rifle when he purchased it.

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes, I did purchase the rifle in December and since then I have put rounds through it under the pretense that it was a gas piston rifle. At the time, had there not been a shortage in ammo I would have been able to shoot the rifle more often and would have discovered the problem sooner. The salesman (who's name is on my original receipt) that sold the rifle to me told me they had an AR gas impingment (blow back) for less than $1000.00. He then told me they had one [redacted] BEAR gas piston for $1499.99 which is the one I agreed to purchase. Since then, the salesman been fired. After many calls to [redacted] defense due to not cycling, a representitive with [redacted] Defense suggested I replace the two selector with a four selector. I purchased this item and when trying to install it is when I realized there was no piston in the rifle. The [redacted] representative then told me that was impossible, a normal gas piston rifle would not fire without it. Then she asked for the serial number of my rifle and informed me at this time I did not have a gas piston rifle I have a gas impingment (blow back) which are two completly different rifles. That was when I contacted Blue Ridge Arsenal and informed them of the error.

Of course the rifle has been used. I purchased the rifle in December under the assumption it was a gas piston [redacted] Bear because that's what I was told I bought, I took it out and shot it, that was when I started having the cycling issue. I then contacted [redacted]. All I want is a new gas piston upper receiver in exchange I will give them the gas impingment one that is currently on my rifle.

I am rejecting this response because:YOU say I'm outta luck, BS ! YOU sold me a rifle, then delivered a completly different model ! What BS is that? I ordered a gas piston, you delivered a gas impingmnet! And ALL you can say "I guess he's outta luck" ? BS way to run a buisness. Everyone who brought from you should check their rifles. But guess ALL your customer's are OUTTA LUCK when you mess up ! All I've ever asked was that YOU correct YOUR mistake ! Manager even told me the salesman had been FIRED, due to mutiple REASON'S, I'm sure this is ONE of them! Horrible Customer Service! Be A MAN a right YOUR WRONG !

Review: I placed an order and paid for a Benelli M2 shotgun on 17 Dec 12. At that time the expected delivery date was 3-6 months. After nearly 10 months I have neither the product or even a firm delivery date. I have been in contact with the salesman/manager, [redacted], repeatedly since July, but is unable to provide any specific details on a delivery date. I believe that I am being strung along and possibly defrauded.Desired Settlement: I request that Blue Ridge Arsenal either deliver the item I ordered or refund the full amount paid ($1,365.95)

The manufacturer of this product has not delivered the product as promised but [redacted] had relayed this to the customer. As of Friday Benelli called us to tell us the firearm was ready for shipment and would be shipped today October 7, 2013 to our store in [redacted]. as soon as the firearm is int he store and logged in the customer will be notified.

Defrauded - Seriously??? We have customers waiting two years for manufacturers to deliver firearms they promised in three months. The firearms industry is notoriously slow in delivering on products when there is a run on firearm purchases in this country which we have had since the Sandy Hook incident.

We have no intention of defrauding anyone, we resent the implication.

Review: I had called Blue Ride Arsenal on 10/6 to get information about getting my [redacted] 19 Gen4's ejector fixed and I was told that I needed to have [redacted] send them something saying that I had needed it done. So I called [redacted] and they told me that they had never been asked to do that. So I called BRA back and I was told that it was warrenty work and that I could bring it in and they would fix it, I asked how much its going to cost to get it fixed and he said its warranty work. So around 11:30am I brought the gun in and said that I was told by [redacted] to bring my gun in because there was a recall on the ejector. The man opened the firearm up and looked at it then said that they would call [redacted] and have the part sent over. Again I asked how much is that going to cost me and I was told that it was warrenty work and [redacted] is going to send the part over. So I left the gun there. At 1:47PM on 10/8 I was called and told that my gun was ready to be picked up. I wen't in and when the man brought my gun he told me that it would be $54.00, I told him I would come back later. I was tricked into thinking that it was going to be fixed free of charge.Desired Settlement: Have the Firearm returned to me.
